Huntress busts out some kickass, Johnny Young Bosch-esque moves, Wonder Woman tops her German suplex on Mongol from last season by jack knife powerbombing Vixen, Sonar... the SUBTLE Nightwing cameo... not a great episode but still so much fun.
Huntress: So, what are you wearing? Question: Blue overcoat, fedora. Huntress: You really stink at this. Question: Orange socks?
I'm really going to miss this show when it's gone.
My comic updates on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Last night's episode won't top the fantastic "Flash and Substance" from earlier this season, but it was definitely good in its own right and will make me miss The Question that much more when the series ends.

I would say the storytelling in both the Deadman and Seven Soliders episodes was excellent. The two Flash episodes and the girlfight show this week were cute, but not stellar.

Based on the teased phone sex between the two of them, I'd say yes.

I'll agree that the Deadman episode was good for the characters and there were some genuine shocks, like Devil Ray's death at the hands of a possessed Batman. But seriously, the season story arc thus far consisted of Grodd forming a league of supervillains to turn the world's population into apes, a scheme so silly that even Lex couldn't help but make fun of it before mercifully removing Grodd from the picture.
Not that I don't think things will improve. With Lex leading the charge, I fully expect that the season's overall plot will get a lot better.
As for the Seven Soldiers episode? Vigilante and Shining Knight made that episode fun, but I kept waiting to hear "EILING SMASH!!!" Between Eiling and the opening of the episode, I'm surprised Marvel didn't sue. ;)

He was one of the highlights of last season, but has barely been used this season. I just recevied a DVD from Ebay of the rest of the season and it is a STRONG finish to the series/season. | Deputy Marshall

Agreed. Saw it on YouTube. Both of them are INSANE and choc full of mark-out moments.
This moment (YouTube.com), though, is still the highlight of the season for me (from the brain-switch episode last week).

I'm certain this storyline culminated with Batman's lounge act. And really, there was no better way to wrap up that side story.

Eh, what a disappointment. If anything, that lounge act should've led to something more. It symbolized how far Batman is willing to go for Diana and how much he loves her.
We can have phone-sex with Question and Huntress, but you can't hook up Batman and Wonder Woman, lame. |
