Sportsjouranlists.com message board has been shut down...again.
The professional writers were too infantile...they came way too close to plagiarism on their posts. They only posted anonymously..which allowed for libel across the board. Their Web Master shut the site down because of these pros acting like jerks. I always was amused when a wrestling thread appeared and the lively debate ensued...Is wrestling a sport!!
And speaking of sports, is anyone else laughing their ass off at the PTI boys for saying Sampras couldn't win another major? I don't think it's as nutty as the Chiefs/Browns ending, but it's up there for this weekend. There've been some really good sports weekends this year (despite all the strike talk).
The big surprise for me was seeing Agassi stomp the shit out of Hewitt. I was watching college football almost all day Saturday, and then turned over to see Agassi just letting the 3rd set slip away. And once I heard Pete had already made the final, I started laughing and didn't stop until I had to go back to class today.
So, you're saying this: RAW getting a 3.4 (3.685 million viewers) this year is the same as RAW getting a 3.76 in 1998. So roughly the same number of folks are watching now as compared to when the "boom" started. Swank.
