... I remember buying an ESPN Baseball preview mag in '96 where they said we would be calling this particular time period "The Griffey Era" in Baseball. Now, I know full well the hyperbolic tendencies of ESPN, but at the time, I didn't know of anyone who disagreed with that proclamation.
