The show started at 7:30pm and was an outdoor show at Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick, MD. Home of the minor league Frederick Keys.

My seat was 10 rows from ringside

Cruiserweight Championship Match

Lil' Natch attaching the tag ropes. He got a lot of WHOOO's his way

Booker T vs Christian.

Lots of "Booker T!" and "Christian sucks" chants

Book was hot and kept going after Christian, building on their SD! match. Christian kept playing the cowardly heel and kept leaving the ring. Book wins with the axe kick and then as he leaves, Sharmell tells him to give us a Spinaroonie, which I have a 25 second movie clip of.

Teddy Long tells runs down the card and the only thing interesting was that LORD STEVEN REGAL was facing Jordan for the US title, not WILLIAM Regal. Smallish pop for mentioning SD! was in Frederick today.

Nick Patrick is our for Super Crazy/Psychosis vs F.B.I.

LOTS of Hispanics yelling at the heels in Spanish. LOUD "F.B.I" chants started by Vito (Nunizo was the face in peril for most of the match) and "USA" chants.

Finish was SC getting the pin on Nunizo (I think) after the Mexicools foiled the hot tag to Vito. He got some offense, but sent him outside the ring.

Hebner out for the Boogieman (crowd started LAUGHING at that) vs Basham. Boogieman cut a promo. We don't know him, but he knows us..blah, blah, blah. Up close, his paint looks like a cross of Road Warrior Animal and Goldust.

20 seconds in the match was called for the rain that came outta NOWHERE (We have been having HEAVY off and on rain all week. Leftovers from Dennis) and after the lightning hit, Boogieman got a pin from a powerslam. Basham was PISSED.

We all ran for cover and it stopped raining after 45 mins, Chimel said that they'll replace the mat and restart shortly.

30 mins later, they place a tarp over the area where they removed the mat ans Chimel said to save our stubs because for the safety of the wrestlers, and more importantly us, they're calling it a night.

Good pictures. So, when's the make-up date?

I loved the recap of this house show on the Observer site. Apparently the thunderclap hit just after Wilson said "I am the Boogieman!", timing it perfectly as if it was a special effect. If nothing else, Boogieman will get one impressive entrance in his life.

Great pictures, Zeruel.

"You can look the other way once, and it's no big deal, except it makes it easier for you to compromise the next time, and pretty soon that's all your doing; compromising, because that's the way you think things are done. You know those guys I busted? You think they were the bad guys? Because they weren't, they weren't bad guys, they were just like you and me. Except they compromised... Once." -- Jack Bauer

TY, TY. They were taken with my 5.0 MP Kodak. I had taken 80 shots (plus the 25 second clip of Booker T) and had about 600 shots left. I could have filled that 1 GB card up.

Make-up date. "Keep checking back on WWE.com and remember to keep your ticket stub!"

Summer Slam is on the 21st of August. They can swing up here (only about a 60 min drive from DC) real quick for a make-up show. Batista came out of the entrance tent to do some more poses before Chimel gave the bad news.

That was my first show since Backlash 2000, and my first house show. It was fun while it lasted.

Yeah, that thunder was PERFECT for the boogieman, but since it started raining as he came out, everyone was scrambling for cover and no one paid attention to him or the match.

Very cool pictures, thanks for sharing them. I've always thought that wrestling outdoors makes things seem a lot cooler.

Very cool pics ... too bad Doug Basham is being used as a jobber now.

Anyone else sense that the Undertaker will be feuding with this guy by the end of the year?
