Ok, I've been keeping track of every match on WWF TV, thanks to the extensive archive of show summarys at slashwrestling.com . I've gotten back to Judgement Day 2001, which was a time when I wasn't really paying much attention to the WWF. So I need someone's help regarding the match between Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle. First Benoit gets a pinfall, then Angle gets a submission, then Angle wins by climbing a ladder? So was it both a 2/3 falls match AND a ladder match? How does that work?
It was a 2/3 falls match with a different stipulation each fall, ala Austin-HHH from No Way Out 2001. First fall was straight wrestling. Second fall was submissions only. Third fall was a ladder match, with the medals as the goal.
I always thought that Triple H should make the '2/3 falls match' his specialty, sort of like how the Dudleys have table matches, Undertaker used to have the casket match, etc.
I was born in a manger, like that other guy. You know, he wore a hat?

Well, this pretty much answered my question about how long it'd take WWE to drop the word "Heavyweight" from the World Heavyweight Title now that Mysterio's champion again: Eh, oh, well.
