Remember to patch this one! Tell everyone that you know about this.
You can be exploited by viewing a graphic if you are not patched. This could be anywhere - even a trusted site like this one if it was posted in a thread.
You must patch now if you have not. Take this one seriously if you run Windows, even if you don't use IE as your main browser.
You have been warned! This is the most serious risk ever exposed in the Windows operating system, because people trust graphic files. Tell your parents to upgrade.
Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.
You better patch office if you're using it and possibly some graphics programs. Mine took a 50 Meg office patch last night from office update on a PC I don't use much that has 98. Thank goodness for Cable modems!
Now, is it ok for me yell THEATRE! in a crowded fire?
Call up the FedEx/Kinko's store in your area and find out if they will download it and burn it on a CD for you for a fee. It's probably worth the $10 you'll have to pay.
Then call up your cable company and get a cable modem installation scheduled. You'll thank me later.

Well the nearest FedEx/Kinko's store is probably several thousand miles away, so it might cost a bit more But I've noticed it's available as a CD with some computer magazines, so I'll probably pick it up that way. On the broadband front I'm actually getting it but not for a few weeks.
