Even if he is just the Kendrys of last year it is a nice addition for Vargus who is a nice pitcher, but the Mariners have enough pitching to find another 3-4 starter. Tons of upside here and they still have all their assets for another bat.

|  #22 Posted on 20.12.12 0127.34 | Instant Rating: 5.45 | I like this trade even more for Seattle since Vargas was very much a creation of Safeco Field (his home/away splits were terribly slanted) and his effectiveness might dim now that the Mariners are bringing the fences in a bit.
