I installed it at work for about 2 minutes but I need to take it back off. I am apparently in the Beta now but it appears I can invite people. I think they must have opened it up to a wider audience.
Sounds interesting to me as well. I got rid of my cable, so seeing Comedy Central, MTV, and VH1 sounds nice. I'll send a PM as well. I've already used things like SopCast before (to watch the NFL Hall of Fame Game, for example).
Joost is awesome, a million thanks for giving out these invites.
The biggest thing on here to me is the Fight Network. I'm of UFC being the only MMA I can easily watch, and the Fight Network isn't offered by my cable company.
Anybody know what the deal is going to be once this is out of Beta? I imagine they'll starting charging something for it. If it's priced well, I think I've got a replacement for my cable TV plan. I'll just have to find a way to watch Lost, the Office, and 30 Rock.
Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.
Well, Lost is on ABC.com the day after it airs, so you could get it there. I think the only way to watch The Office is buying the episodes on iTunes, though.
First of all thanks Guru for the invite greatly appreciated. SO far so good, good quality, great channel choices, especially the music and sports, but...I CANT FIND NBC,Comedy Central et all.
I know there is an IP problem with the PR ip that they think we are not part of the US and hence no programming, but I really thought here it would be different. Argh anyway to bypass or change IP? Maybe I have different channels you guys don't have because of it, lots of Europeans stuff which is great. Somebody is going late to bed tonite! Thanks again Guru
Puerto Rico...fighting for 3rd place on the World Baseball Classic!
I've invited everyone who sent me a PM - please check your spam folders if you did not receive this. I still show about half of you that I invited have not signed up.
Aren't those more shell or termianl applications than FTP clients, though? It looks like FileZilla has the most downloads on Sourceforge.net. I have no idea if it is any good, though.
