We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
I'm in and hoping to bounce back from a career-worst finish. New name, new strategy.
While we got this thread open, how does everyone feel about the new rules changes NASCAR is considering putting in this season? I like the 'chose one series to run for a championship' rule; it might keep the Sprint cup guys from taking all the attention away from the full time Nationwide racers who need it. As for the points change they're considering, it's sounds simpler but I don't know if it will actually change anything among the top of the leader board (namely, have someone other than JJ winning the championship yet again).
Not just the factual problems, but the constant boosterism of the race is very annoying to me. It's nothing new for IRL events, but there seems to be a mission to continually point how exciting the race is, to maybe badger you into believing it.
