An incident involving John Cena took place at the O'Hare Airport in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday morning. The following information came from two sources from the O'Hare Airport. One source is a person's eye witness account of the incident. The other source is from written documentation of the incident. Here is an eyewitness report in regards to situation at hand...
"John Cena was at O'Hare Airport in Chicago on Tuesday morning to get a flight to Tampa. He arrived too late to check in his bag for the flight and was informed by the ticket agents that his bag wouldn't be able to make it. Cena started swearing at the agents and gave them the finger before leaving his bag and departing for the gate, despite knowing his bag wouldn't make the flight. The gate was called and told to not let him to board. Cena returned to the ticket desk and saying "f*** you" repeatedly to the agents present, and he was told to stop using profanity. A manager came to the desk and again told him to stop using profanity. He was rebooked on a later flight.
Apparently, this incident caused a big scene at the airport, and it could have much worse than it actually was. In situations such as this one, the customer is not allowed to the fly on his or her original flight. Customers that are abusive to airline staff usually have the police stationed at the airport, called in. A WWE representative personally called the O'Hare airline to apologize for Cena's disruptive behavior. Also, the source was told that if Cena ever misbehaves at the O'Hare airline ever again, he will be denied boarding on the flight and he will have to find another airline in which to fly on.
Just wondering, if WWE will punish Cena like they are doing to Orton?
Orton has a LONG history of being an idiot, whereas Cena is well-liked behind the scenes, and does everything WWE asks him, both in and out of the ring. The situations may be similar, but the history of the men behind them are not. I think that fact is taken into consideration when handing out fines/suspensions (a fine is more likely what Cena will get here, IMO).

The pressure of carrying the belt got to a veteran like Eddie Guerrero when he champ and Flair claimed to have something approaching a nervous breakdown the first time he was carrying the NWA belt, so it shouldn't be a shock that Cena was going to have an episode at some point, particularly after the reaction he was getting the last 3 days in Chicago. Now, I'm not excusing his actions. In the grand scheme of things, they are worse than the final straw that broke the camel's back with Orton (his immaturity streak goes back at least to his days of going AWOL in the military), as O'Hare is a much larger public venue than a hotel, plus if a comment an upset Cena makes is misinterpreted in any manner at an airport, a messy and public security intervention could occur. That's the sort of publicity Vince and Co. really don't need about their champion.
Well dealing with airports can get very frustrating at times. If there's any truth to this rumor it sounds more like a freak incident than anything else. We all have our bad days and lose our cool sometimes.
And a bad day is definitely what this sounds like. I'm as critical of the Cena character as anyone else who dislikes it, but the man himself is genuinely a good guy. I'm sure some other things happened that day, probably causing him to arrive a bit late, and he just lost his cool right then. That airline hassle was the last straw, so to speak.
Orton, however, has a history of this sort of thing and so would lend himself towards strict punishment. With Cena, this was definitely a once-in-a-blue-moon incident and I doubt much'll come from it.
We're the middle children of history...no purpose or place. We have no Great War, no Great Depression. Our great war, our defining crucible, is a spiritual war.
Exactly. As someone who's known Cena personally, this is COMPLETELY out of character for him.

Why yes I did. You see thats what happens when I start typing before ingesting at least 6 cups of coffee. Of course after 6 cups the typos start a flowing but hey ho. Anyways Eddie pinned Matt following a Frog Splash in the opener.
