Oh, it was a plant. I was seriously hoping this was a candid video of Cena randomly walking by when some smark came out of nowhere "rapping" about how his workrate sucks and Kurt Angle should have won the title at No Mercy 2005.
Kenny would've been in OVW at that point, but not under contract. He was previously training with Killer Kowalski in New England, and is originally from Virgina.
It's not impossible, but it seems implausible that he would've end up in Philly for No Mercy, on his own dime, for something they could've grabbed any number of closer indy guys to do. Or it could just be Some Guy who legit challenged Cena on his way in, and they decided to send Cena back out and turn it into an angle.
I'm sure it's was just a bit to make Cena seem more Real - they don't film people walking into the building unless it's a bit and WWE sure didn't think Cena lost by the way they played it up during the show.
I agree with others where I don't see how he "lost" the battle or even how it was embarassing for him. It was his gimmick after all.
I miss rapping Cena. Cena the champ is boring. If you watch old clips on YouTube, his rap battles with Big Show and Kurt Angle were quite funny. Taking away Cena's raps is like when they had Stone Cold stop drinking beer and giving the finger. Dull.
In no particular order, ten things I honestly have a positive feeling about regarding the current WWE scene. 1. The unexpected surge in popularity for the always entertaining Booker T. 2. Kurt Angle, as always, in general. 3.
