My one question about the possibility of a Undertaker/JBL feud would be: Isn't Undertaker supposed to be a heel now? The cold, emotionless Dead Man who drowned his friend and mentor (and father, but we won't mention that) in cement just because he was "a weakness"? Or are they just going to sweep all that under the rug and let him be Face Taker instead?
S'io credesse che mia risposta fosse a persona che mai tornasse al mondo, questa fiamma staria senzu piu scosse. Ma per cio che giammai di questo fondo non torno vivo alcun, s'i'odo il vero, senza tema d'infamia ti rispondo.

I don't think Paul Bearer was ever Taker's dad. He had an affair with Taker's mom and 9-months later Kane popped out IIRC, and if I do, Please help me... So Kane & Taker are brothers from different dads. So Who's Taker dad, well that's just another bad angle waiting to happen, or maybe it's happened already when Chuck Norris helped his son vs. Yokozuna which explains the new Walker, Taker-Ranger.
I thought a Cena/Bradshaw U.S title feud would have been fine, and I actually thought that was what they were going for when Bradshaw turned heel... I think Cena could be special. He just needs to stop pandering so much for the cheap pop & child-like jokes so he could be taking a bit more serious. Doesn't necessary have to turn heel, just a bit more venomous to his opponents. I still remember his promo vs. The Undertaker at the graveyard with torches, it was great like he's showing no fear of the legend and would go to his backyard to prove it. It was done so well I actually believed the Cena could go face to face with Taker. He needs more of that.
As for Cena feuding and possible winning the title off Bradshaw, ahh I'd much rather have Cena win his first WWE title off a much more credible champion. What type of major rub will he get defeating Bradshaw for the WWE title... I'd just have Bradshaw lose the title to someone who's already had it and established like Eddie or Undertaker.
smark/net attack wienerville advisory is raised to YELLOW alert - Elevated (JBL is the new WWE champion, good gawd hide under the desk. But Benoit is World Champion allowing some safety in the IWC)- 6/28
I think I said way back when the JBL push started that they should have him challenge Cena for the U.S. Title. I mean there's a money feud right there. JBL as the great white hope conservitive vowing to destroy Cena the common thug who is bringing down your property value.
But alas that didn't happen.
I think a feud between JBL and Cena will be a hell of alot more interesting then JBL vs. The Taker since all we're going to be getting out of that for the next few weeks is the occassional beatdown by JBL and The Undertaker no selling it to everyone's delight.
My biggest problem with elevating Cena isn't his juvenile-ish promos lately... that's something you can fix by writing him better, main-event-quality promos.
And its not really his workrate. Sure, his basic moveset (and I use that term VERY loosely) is pretty barren... punchy-kicky, sidewalk slam (why is a mid-sized guy doing Generic Big Guy Move #3?), Five-Knuckle Shuffle (fistdrop)... the Throwback (flippy neckbreaker, kinda like the Blockbuster, but from the mat instead of from the 2nd rope) is kinda nifty, but still... that's not that big a deal, because his punchy-kicky is pretty damn good, and Cena sells like a champ.
My problem is his finisher.
You can't even call it a modified Death Valley Driver/Spiccoli Driver anymore. It's a standing Fireman's Carry takeover. It looks less damaging than a bodyslam. That's not a believable main-event finisher in this day and age.
I mean, as much crap as Bradshaw gets for his in-ring work, he at least has a powerbomb and his fscking sick clotheslines as finishers.
When Spike Dudley has a nastier looking finisher than you... you're not quite ready to be main-eventing.
I don't think that they should do Cena vs. JBL yet. As much as I hated when they took the belt off of Eddie, they should at least give JBL a few months with the title to see if he can be a big time player on Smackdown or if he's just a glorified mid-carder. They should probably go with Taker for SS and Unforgiven and then if they still want to have JBL as the champ, they have from Unforgiven in September until Survivor Series to elevate someone to face him. Cena shouldn't get another shot until he is actually gonna win the title, probably around WM XXI.
Yes. I have it on tape, and I can confirm that it IS the worst match of 2002. Not just my opinion, as it won that honor in every single end-of-year-awards I've seen. It was Bradshaw & Trish Stratus v. Christopher Nowinski & Jackie Gayda.
