Free agent Joe Kennedy died suddenly (sports.espn.go.com) at his in-laws' in Florida today. He was 28.

It's a horrible situation and I can't help but wonder if there were drugs (performance-enhancing or otherwise) involved. It sounds way too similar to the way a lot of recent professional wrestlers have gone.
