From yesterday's Sid Hartman column in the Minneapolis StarTribune:
"Former Gophers football player and professional wrestler Jim Brunzell has been a personal friend of Bruce Springsteen for 20 years. So when Springsteen, who appeared at the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday night, was having problems with his back early Sunday, it was Brunzell whom the famous singer called to make available some equipment to exercise his back and improve the condition."
I heard that the two of them donned yellow and black-striped masks, disappeared under the stage, and then "Springsteen" performed the rest of the concert. Though you couldn't really tell which was which.....
Just because he was good in OMEGA doesn't mean he's good now. I honestly can't remember the last good/great match that Jeff Hardy had. His run of matches with RVD from 2001 was probably the last time he had quality outings.
