Art Shell has suspended Porter four games for "conduct detrimental to the team".
You mean the same Jerry Porter who was sitting on the sidelines laughing his ass off while his own QB was sacked and actively rooting against his own team in WEEK ONE is just NOW getting suspended for conduct detrimental to the team? How did it take this long? What are they thinking?
TEN YEARS AGO IN WRESTLING HISTORY: OCTOBER 1996 WWF: Mankind d. Undertaker in the first ever Buried Alive match at...WWF Buried Alive. Also, Steve Austin continued his efforts to bring Bret Hart back to the ring by turning on Brian Pillman, shattering his ankle in what to this day is known as "Pillmanizing".
WCW: Hulk Hogan d. Randy Savage in a main event no one cared about, but Roddy Piper came out immediately after to end Halloween Havoc with a bang. The Outsiders won their first WCW Tag Team titles by beating Harlem Heat.

If the fantasy spin's to be believed, Art Shell suspended Porter for the one thing he's done that ISN'T suspension-worthy. Several players were complaining during practice about the organization (or lack thereof) and Porter asked how long practice would last, and Shell IMMEDIATELY gave him the hook for four games. If Porter appeals, chances are they'll throw it out the window.
Travesty? No. Young was the 30th ranked passer in the league and had more INTs than TDs. I'm kind of surprised at how easily he won. I thought Maurice Jones-Drew (950 rushing yards, 15 overall TDs) would've gotten more votes.
