This just announced on Howard Stern's radio show:

Jericho's band Fozzy has agreed to a Battle of the Bands against Stern's makeshift group the Losers. Stern, in recent days, has been ragging on the "Happenstance" CD saying that Jericho is 'offkey' and the CD sounds like 'bad '80's hair metal'. (Hmmmmmmm.....) The contest will take place as soon as their schedules jibe.

Sounds like a work. The Happenstance CD tanked. Wrestlemania is right around the corner. What a great way to promote both.

The Losers are undefeated so far in the celebrity battle of the bands. And Fozzy could could bring in Vince McMahon to dance and sing with them. Didn't Jericho already unearth that footage?

A nap would be really nice right now.

Add Hogan on the bass and Jake on the sax and you've got a winner.

Stand back, indeed.

On the Fozzy tip, I caught most of their new video on MTV2 last night. It`s pretty goofy, and the Hurricane (in "disguise") is seen multiple times dancing.

Also, there`s a story on wwe.com about the Rhode Island club fire, and Jericho gives his thoughts on it, in reference to his experiences with Fozzy.

Definitely a work. Much better than their usual plugs for WWE events. Nobody gets hurt, either. Fozzy gets some more mainstream publicity, Mania gets some good media coverage, and Howard gets another victory for his band (like any judge would vote against him on his own show!)
I can just see the Confidential piece on Jericho's Stern appearance now.... not to mention the footage being used on Stern's godawful E! show at a later date.

Well, I'm just going on the typical WWE mindset - 'If it worked then, it'll work now'. My initial thought upon hearing that the nWo was reforming was, Ah, shit. But on hearing Benoit talk about the 4H, my reaction was 'That could be cool.
