| #1 Posted on 9.10.02 0039.15 | So, did anyone else out there feel as good as I did about the Chris Jericho/Christian tag team on RAW? I would LOVE to see these two guys become at a permanent tag team. I mean, they could still compete in singles competition regularly, but maybe they could pair up frequently a la Goldust & Booker T. (or more frequently)
Their personalities blend so well. Both Jericho and Christian have some Owen Hart-like tendencies about them, and pairing them up together could result in both great wrestling action and also lots of fun character development. Who knows - maybe we'll get to see Booker T/Goldust vs. Jericho/Christian, as Jericho and Booker seem to have a feud a brewin'.
I would love to see these two get an extended tag title reign someday.

(Didn't see the TLC match because I was watching the football and baseball games at BW3's with my church singles group, but I hear that there was very little teamwork involved in the match.) “I've been waiting long for one of us to say, ‘Save the darkness, and let it never fade away.’” --a-ha, “The Living Daylights”, theme from The Living DaylightsTwo-Time, Two-Time Randomly Selected Weiner of the Day, 5/27/02 and 7/3/02 | DarrylTheHitman

| #3 Posted on 9.10.02 0058.23 | Sure, they'd be great. I'd like to see them get the RAW belts. Then I'd like to see Benoit turn face and team with Edge to win the SD! belts. Then I'd like to see them have a unification match whenever they drop the split--preferably in a TLC (Totally Loaded Cell). At least then we'd be guaranteed 2 good matches at WrestleMania--assuming the main event would be Angle/Lesnar.

Yes, it was mostly every man out for himself - but I'd betcha CJ and Christian would click together quite well.

Two things though:
1) Keep the separate entrances. Christian's entrance is the best in the business, and God's is a *very* close second. I *need* to see both.
2) Christian, Christian... you rule, dude, but the red tights have gotta go. Stick with the mesh shirt if you know what's good for you.

Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?
Besides, as neat as this tag team may be, don't you think that we'd be bitching about how Jericho is mired in a tag team within a month? I think for now, that I'd rather see Jericho and Christian wrestle singles, anyway.

Since everyone else is doing it (ok, not EVERYONE, but...)
Vikings (0-4) - Bye weeks are boring (round 2) Badgers (5-1) - Congrats to Penn State. Time to rethink our defense. Twins (1-0) - Mays looked like a million bucks. In short, our team's whole salary. Buffy 7.2 earns a 8.8 Out of 10 for being the funniest episode since "Tabula Rasa" and without the dramatic ending. It might even have scored higher if my UPN's audio didn't cut out and I didn't have to watch it in closed captioning... | Faust

| #7 Posted on 9.10.02 1006.28 | Yeah, I did think about his theme song. As cool as his theme is, they'd have to change that lyric or both come out to Y2J's . . . A single line in a theme theme song is hardly reason enough to keep them apart.
and I know *I* wouldn't complain about Cristian and CJ in the tag division. It's not like CJ's getting a fair shake at the ME scene, so let him do something else for a while, and it would definitely be a step up for Cristian.

I agree about Christian's red outfit. He looked like a short Diesel.

| #9 Posted on 9.10.02 2308.51 | Jericho and Christian should definately team up more often. Their personalities really mesh well. They both have that cocky/smart-ass appeal to be a great heel team. At worst, they're still a hell of a lot more entertaining than Rosey and Jamal.

I think "At last you're on your own" is more of a reference to Christian being out of the shadow of his brother Edge than him being a singles wrestler... it would still work even if he teams with Jericho.

| #12 Posted on 13.10.02 0032.06 | Yes, having CJ and Christian be a semi-tag team would be best. Heck, they could have a four corner number one contenders match with Booker T. and Goldust at a PPV.
