Chris next appears this Friday - third round and as he said on here, his chat time with Alex should be interesting to all us Ws.

Does he cut a Promo on The Game

Does accuse Scott Keith of being a nerd?

Does he show a lock of Zed's hair (there's plenty...)

Does he promo the website?

Does he talk about all the geeks he hangs out with who wonder what he says on Jeopardy?

We'll know soon!

Now, just wait a minute!

I paid him to say he's a wiener FOR LIFE.

I rather hear him say he is going to win tonight because he is that damn good.

I think you're an asshole. No, no, let me correct that, an immature asshole. Which is fine, except that you're marrying my daughter and I'm afraid that my grandchildren are gonna be little assholes.

I'd actually love to see the look on Alex's face if he DID say he was a wiener for life.

The answer to WWE's financial problems...

Never 'Wiener of the Day', and is actually quite bitter about it.

You really want to know what he talks about?

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
His little Sgt. Slaughter. Honestly -- he takes out a Sgt. Slaughter WWF action figure and talks to Trebek about the whole GI Joe/Sgt. Slaughter category connection.

Whether or not Chris wins or not -- I'm not spoiling that.

I know what a vertical tasting is! What, this game doesn't have a "Phone a Wiener" option? (OK, that's about the only one I did know, but still...)

Excellent job, Chris!!!! :-)

WARNING! I believe the episode has aired everywhere now, so I'm typing this thinking that it can't be spoiled. If it hasn't aired where you are yet, AVERT YOUR EYES and yang the computer's power cord from the wall to shut it off!

Yeah, that episode was amazing to watch. Normally I hate the guy that cleans up and has a huge lead at the end, it was fun to actually be cheering for once. I can't wait to see the next round (fourth round? How many people are left going into this next round?)

Basically, it's semis (the next round; starts Tuesday) then finals; Chris wins one more, he's in for a big payday regardless if he beats KenJen or not.

Chris,

What was with the guy on your right? Did they not let him use the bathroom before the game. He reminded me of a 5 year old who needed to go #1.

Matt's just very intense when he's playing the game. He's a really nice guy, but he just really gets into a zone when he's on stage.

He creeped me out too. Congrats Chris! It's great to see a fellow Louisvillian doing well! I love trivia, but usually don't watch Jeopardy! regularly for whatever reason.

We TiVoed the ep last night and watched it this afternoon (as I'm a Nielsen house this week, so they at least get replay credit for that one) and really enjoyed it.

Good luck and get Jennings!!

edit: Maybe it's because I don't watch WLKY (the channel Jeopardy! airs on in the 'Ville) news much, but it doesn't seem like this is the big deal around town that it should be. I'll see if anything is on Mojo and maybe spread the word that way when I hear your next ep is on.

I agree. You probably didn't see it, but they did a local promo with Teapot on 'LKY during WOF in the half hour before and Alex called him a "legendary player". (Of course, he didn't name him, so I assume that was the up front for every local promo.

I PM'd Chris when he won, but since everyone's seen it now, I want to add my congrats and say how awesome it is to have a local guy on the TOC (and I mean a Weiner, not a Louisvillian!)

Congrats, Chris! I missed the show since I was out that night, but at least I know I can catch you on again in the future anyway, you were actually mentioned in today's update of the Observer:

Just so everyone here who's not a Jeopardy fanatic knows, Teapot's next appearance is a two day mini-Tourney this Thursday and Friday. If he wins that, he goes up against Monster Heel Jennings.

I think it would be a great final with Chris, Ken Jennings and Jerome (last night's winner). Let's hope that's what happens. Good luck, Chris!

Good job Chris. The guy that won was infallible there for a bit. Hopefully, he can do the same thing to Jennings as he seemed to have a pretty good personality. We'll be watching even tho you're not there.

I live right across the interstate from where you work and my wife, my daughter and I are in there all the time, so maybe we'll see ya around.

Again, good job!!

A good job from me as well. I was so happy to see you there and was bummed you didn't win, but happy for you - think of it! One of the top 10 Jeopardy players of all time! That's pretty darn cool.
