Besides necrophilia and HLA, if there was ever a time for me to be pissed off at RAW, this would be it. Basically, I have just seen two whole segments of Jeff Hardy getting treated like a prize BITCH. First he gets Chokeslammed and Five-Starred by Kane and RVD, then when he tries to make a name for himself through HBK, he gets kicked in the face for his troubles! Is THIS the proper way to do a heel turn? What was the point of Jeff even coming out? One thing's for sure, they better be going somewhere good with this angle, or you're looking at one very unhappy camper!

But what if I like Jeff being treated like a prize bitch? I'd rather not see Jeff on TV for a long while, if at all.

I was pissed when Shawn just knocked out Jeff Hardy. Made him look like a total loser. Unfortunatley, it looks like they're going towards a "Jeff Hardy has personal issues" angle here. I'm not sure, but it looks like it, which would be in incredibly bad taste. Just ask Scott Hall.

Oh, please that was the greatest Sweet Chin music shot and sell since HBK has been back. I think Jeff being treated like a bitch will lead to Jeff finally losing it on someone.

A Fan- Be pissed that they have no one for RVD and Kane to fued with.

I don't know, I thought it was pretty funny. "I'm gonna start kickin' sum assss 'round here and I'm gonna start with you." Bzzzt.

When Shawn came out I thought they were possibly setting up a mentor situation between Shawn and Jeff since their situations have been compared with each other so many times in the past. I guess they could still pull off that mentor situation, or maybe have Jeff get so frustrated that he goes to SmackDown to learn the doctrines of Mattitude at the feet of his brother while he becomes the top MFer. Or, they could have him do the WCW Chris Jericho turn and just flip out after all the losing and start cheating his ass off and doing anything he can to win while pissing off everyone around him with his cocky, yet chickenshit, attitude.

A long while back (maybe even on the old EZBoard) there was a discussion about what to do with the Hardy's and Lita. I suggested they just make them totally insane redneck psychopaths. And while Mattitude is doing too well for me to want to revisit that idea, I still think it could work for Jeff. I want Jeff to be like a psycho trailer dweller on PCP mixed with the most angry skatepunk ever born. I want him to attack people from behind with baseball bats and ladders and things. Make him hate EVERYONE. Attack heels and faces. Hell, have Sean O'Haire be the one who gets in his head even. then when Lita comes back, send her to Raw as his bitter sidekick. Just have her say no one gave a crap about her while she was injured. I think it could be fun.

I thought the Sweet Chin Music was great because it made it look like Shawn was a vertan who should be smart not to fall for a straight on sneak attack, which is what he is.

Anybody see Sean O'Hare coming in to help Jeff clear up his confusion? (And while I don't subscribe to most board rumors, I'd have to say I'd find it quite entertaining if Sean convinced Jeff to come out of the closet.)

Now I found that funny enough, but it was even better when my little 7 year old brother chimed in with, "He did the opposite of what he said he would..." *Laughs* Poor Jeff!

Y'know what got me about this segment? That Shawn pointed out that he kicked Mary Jannetty through that window 15 YEARS AGO! 15?!?!?! Could it be 15 already?

I'm so old.

It's only been like 11 or 12 years. It was definitely in 91 or 92, not 1988!

It was definitely 12, b/c it happened in Dec. 1991, I believe. When you've been through as many matches and been on the road as long as HBK, I'm sure it all blends together. At least he knew that he THREW him through the Barber Shop window instead of super kicking him through it, as people say he did from time to time.

See it amazes me that people can remember that segment from 12 years ago. But, what happened on Raw 12 weeks ago? Shawn must have been mistaken with his debut in the WWF which was indeed 15 years ago in June.

I can only assume this is some kind of bizarre punishment. They can't SERIOUSLY expect to push Jeff as a serious heel after having his ass handed to him three weeks in a row! This is so counter-productive, it isn't even funny and it leads me to believe Jeff's finally getting punished for his shitty work and attitude.

It's his new character folks..the old route of the desillusioned guy who is gonna snap eventually because he cannot win.

I watched last weeks Raw last night and both JR and Lawler said it.
"That new vicios attitude he has been having as of late must come from his frustration to not win"
"Yeah, he is really trying to win an important match, just to prove something."
(or something was said along those lines)

So he goes after RVD, Kane, HBK..just to prove that he can beat a big name..I don't see this as punishment because if anything he has been fucking up less lately.

Okay, so I started watching at about 10:25 EST last night, so I missed the first beatdown. I'm kind of surprised that he pulled a Hurricane twice. (Let me explain.) Pulling a Hurricane is so named from one week where Kane was fueding with HHH, and one night the Hurricane ran out to help Kane. He was promptly hit (I believe it was just a punch) by HHH, fell out to the apron, and lay there for the next 10 minutes. Therefore, "pulling a Hurricane" is doing something for no obvious purpose other than to get punked out.

Anyway, the point of it is that I don't think you can build up a heel if he keeps on getting the hell knocked out of him each week. And dMp, I understand your reasoning, but he's still got to look somewhat respectable. Now, if he went back and got everyone back (in the back) next week, it'd be a little better.

Chris Jericho jobbed to everyone and their aunt and threw tantrums. Granted, Jeff is not Chris, but who knows what comes from this.

Also, he did get revenge for a while on Booker T (and quite some booos if i recall)

Kane in a suit may just be the most bizarre thing I've seen in all my years of watching wrestling. (He looks so much like John Laurinitis that it's rather hilarious, actually).
