Pretty surprising considering Jason Powell mentioned that Hardy was interested in going back to the WWE by 2017, so maybe he signed a one year deal? Did Jeff send out feelers to the WWE and did they show little to no interest? That would be surprising or does he feel he owes Dixie because she didn't fire him after the debacle at Victory Road a few years ago? Not looking forward to EC3 being cast aside so Matt can face Jeff at Slamiversary for the title.

There's like a 95% chance WWE offered a deal that wasn't much and TNA just offered more. Jeff is in the ring on TNA shows, but he's still in bad shape from the bike accident and maybe he's hoping he'll be in a better position a week from now. - luchablog

Yeah, this would have been surprising if he had never destroyed his leg. I don't know if we are ever going to see a version of Jeff close to what we know and maybe love. It's too bad when you think about how he was nearly indestructible in the ring, never needing a major surgery doing all the insane things he has done for our amusement. I really wanted to see him make another WWE run and the timing would have been good with the roster depleted due to injury.

This is good for TNA though because he still has a strong following and good for him because of the lighter schedule.

Exciting to see TNA be able to afford to resign Brand Name Stars again.

Jeff isn't a guy to build around in the top spot, but would be perfect as the centerpiece of the X-Division. (Or of the KOTM/Legends division if his mobility is too shot.)

I doubt we'll ever see Nero-mode again, but as long as he's on the roster I'll keep hoping for that.

Was there ever a Bischoff or Sting (or Hardy) interview or book excerpt about the Victory Road "match?"

Jeff's really got nowhere else to go but to re-sign with TNA. I don't think WWE will ever have him back.

Don't get me wrong, I like the old WCW belt. But that's the problem. It's the old WCW title. Why not create a new belt? They did it for the tag belts, now let's see them do the same for the World championship.
