But assuming it is what a lot of people are going to assume it probably is, a failure of the wellness policy, this would be strike #3, wouldn't it?

WWE.com is reporting that Jeff Hardy was found passsed out in a stairwell last night at the Boston hotel he was staying at and rushed to the emergency room.
It appears this is an angle foir tonight's show and not a legitimate news story but we will update with more details.
Not sure what the point of that would be, but I guess we'll see soon enough.

First thing that crossed my mind. "Heh, that's an appropriate photo for a Jeff Hardy health story."
At first glance I think this is a work, but if it isn't then more details have to come out before anything can really be said. As mentioned before, any number of different things could've caused this outside of 'wellness' stuff.

Sounding more and more like a work, F4W/WO updated their story, with "several sources" confirming that it's storyline.

I'm just wondering, because I know in the old days they'd actually supply ted dibiase with money to blow all around town to keep up a millionare immage, and forbid guys like the wild samoans from using english anywhere near the arena, etc.

If you look at it from another angle, it's exactly the best, most convincing, intrigue-pricking thing to do as a work. Maybe morally dubious and not great for image, but still, it reminded me that there's a PPV tonight. | Brian P. Dermody

I disagree completely. It's exploitative (yeah yeah it's wrestling, whadja expect?). But if it's not on TV it didn't happen, and the people who hear about the angle before the PPV are the same people who immediately check to see it's a work.
Then it's just like, "Oh ok, wrestling's being stupid again". The only people worked by something like this are the people who only read stuff that comes out of Stamford. Waste of everyone's time, and the only way it shows more contempt for the audience is if the announcers are using the "this is serious" voice.
And yeah, it reminded me that there's a PPV, but at the same moment reminded me why I'm not ordering it.
