You would rather see Jericho and Storm wrestle in a four-minute match? Wonder how many people would be maoning about their grave misuse then...
Jericho doesn't have a match this Sunday. Big whoop. That means there's actually, y'know, some INTRIGUE as to what he's going to at the show. Plus, this is actually pretty indicative of Jericho's position on the card-there's no-one of his caliber for him to fight. Why stick him in a match against, say, DDP, where as a main eventer he'll have to be beaten up by a lower card face? this way he can stick his nose in the main event, and come off none the worse for wear.
I really think since the split, nothing or no one has stepped up as the women, especially Trish and Molly. Over the last 2 weeks they have been some of the top thing on TV. Even most of the hacks and snobs on the internet are giving them their proper props.
As for the tag title match, well that's a different story all together. But then again there is a lot of guys that haven't been on PPV like Lenser, Eddie G, Kidman and Tajiri, so it's a numbers game. Some has to be bumped unless you want a bunch of 8 men tags.
The AGD are the tag champs. You may not like them but they do have something to do having a little mini-feud with Maven and Snow over the past 2 weeks or so - so you can't bump them.
I wouldn't mind seeing Storm right now either - but he's not doing anything right now and the crowd will likely be dead in response to him.
As far as Jericho, I see him interfering in the World Title match. That and the fact that with Rock gone, SD only has two top faces (Hogan and Edge) and they're both taken.
Jericho may not be wrestling - but he will certainly do something of significance.
IMO, this seems to me that you're more upset about not seeing any of your favorites in any matches rather than what you see as such a poor quaity PPV.
Lance Storm wrestled in a great 4 star quality opening match at Summerslam 01 and a pretty good match at the crappy Invasion ppv. Not to mention his many great matches in WCW and ECW. When was the last time any of the 4 men in the tag title match were in any wrestling match that was good? You probably can't name one.
Apparently since the women's division has the same two women fighting each other over and over again, WWF has seemingly made it "good." I guess its like JR's definition of a serious LW division. Just every few months have the same two guys feud over title in about 100 matches then let the titles go through its routine hibernation.

Other than that -- which the "average" non-internet/non-workrate obsessed fan really DOES NOT care about -- name a recent (that means in the past couple of months) angle that Storm was involved in that wasn't absolutely stupid. Or a recent feud of his that was memorable.
The average fan right now wants to see Jazz vs Trish. I myself think that Molly will do something that will get a feud going after that..
I am not sure if anybody cares about C+B vs. Maven & AL, but heh..so this is the only real match that has no feudish background other than 'we taunted one another for a week before you beat me in a singles match' All other matches have been built up for pretty much most of the month..
That brings us to Storm...his reason for being on the card could be errrrrr...er....oh wait..Hugh Morrus blocked his sunlight when standing outside watching Mizark Henry taking on a Limo? Nah..better NOT have him throw out a random match against a random oponent and build him and his char slowly over time..
Jericho? As already said, Chris is not in a direct feud right now, yet seems to be getting ready to take on Hogan after Backlash. Better that than a low card match which you can then bitch about as he is obviously being pushed down
For once the WWF doesn't throw random booked matches on the PPV and it still isn't good? Doh.. **EDIT: LOL..right after finishing this post I read Weevil's 8 minute match on Jakked thread, where Lance and Hugh go at it for 8 minutes *lol* what was it about? blocking the sun?
Yet my point still stands..right now Lance is jakked material. build him slowly and he will headline ppvs in time.

No its not. You know why? Because the wrestlers suck. Does anyone really think Hogan vs. HHH has a chance of being an great, exciting wrestling match? Maybe now, but probably not 3 years ago when everybody hated Hogan and despised everything he did in WCW and past WWF.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What the HELL has three years ago got to do with this Sunday's PPV? The Hogan/HHH match won't be a scientific match, but it'll sure be interesting, perhaps even more so from a smark's viewpoint. Who will job? How will they get out of the clean job? etc. etc.
And as for making a blanket statement that "the wrestlers suck", then I got no time for ya. If you think that RVD/Guerrero, Angle/Edge and Tajiri/Kidman-which all have a good chance of being ***1/2-****-suck, then you're a complete maroon.
-Tajiri/Kidman. has never been in a good match in the WWF. Yeah you can argue and say some of his stuff with X-pac was ok. But he hasn't been in any straight up great match since he came into the company. And the longest match he's wrestled in was about nine minutes. Some of the same can be said for kidman.
-RVD/Guerrero. So after all the shit Eddy's done, its all ok now? However this could be the best match on the card if both men are up for it. I think its finally time for Eddy to have a great match in the WWF, and this could be it.
-Angle/Edge. Remember the last time these two went at it on PPV? it was pretty mediocre. Could be different this time around.
-HHH/Hogan. 3 years ago everyone on the internet (and some casual fans) hated Hogan and everything he did in WCW and old school WWF. But now its cool to like Hogan so this sunday's match will be "interesting".

Factual Statement? Yes. Anything to do with this Sunday's match? Not really. Neither guy has had any really great matches in the company, mainly due to the fact that both guys' major feud has been with Sean "Look Ma, I'm On TV" Waltman. Based on their non-WWF body of work, I'd say it's fair to have good expectation for their match.
Personally, my friend, I can't stand the bag of shit that is Hollywood Hogan. But I cannot deny that I'm interested to see how the match turns out this Sunday. So don't tell me I like Hogan because it's "cool" to like him.
And the Angle/Edge match at KOTR 2001 was pretty mediocre due to BOTH guys wrestling in earlier matches AND Angle conserving his energy for the Streetfight later. Check the house show sheets-they've been tearing the place down over the past coupla weeks.

The situation changed, Hogan was kept on top in WCW long after he stopped being a draw. But right now he is drawing so even though the match will suck it's a sensible booking decision and the more sense the WWF shows the better.
This is a little embarassing. I "knew" Llakor from ITVR and CRZBoard/Weinerboard/The-W forever, and I've been Facebook friends with Michael Ryan for a few years too. But only today did I realize they were both the same guy.
