Best "surprisingly good" TV match I've seen in a while....
And as I watched this match, it made me wonder: where do they go from here? We'd pretty much all assumed that Jannetty was a plot element; he'd go in, get brutalized by Angle, and become just more fuel for Michaels' fire in needing to beat Kurt Angle.
But he held his own. They really need to do something with him now, since he held his own in the ring with Angle. But what? | Mayhem

I would pay GOOD money to see that. But ive been thinking if you put facepaint on him he'd look like the ultimate London!!! Anywho, I'm still pretty sure both he and jake will at least be considered for the trainer positions in the new developmental territory over here. It's not going to be much of a drive for either of them...or is Jake still starving snakes in England?

Believe me the last thing im doing is forgetting that about Jake, but its not beneath WWE to try with someone with a drug problem.

He said it's not 100% yet, but he is expected to go to the Raw side and have some interaction with Shawn Michaels. That ought to be cool. Nice to see that they gave him a chance to show them what he still had left in the tank and signed him when they saw he wasn't half bad.

Good, as Marty really earned it last week, and I was even saying after RAW that I thought WWE should pick him up.
Only thing is, personally, I would have put him on SmackDown. RAW just has a lot of people on the roster, whereas SmackDown's roster is somewhat delapitated by comparison, and I think it might be easier for him to get lost in the shuffle on RAW.

Well let's be honest, even if some people think him being around is cool, do you really think he's going to make a huge impact in any way? I mean, I don't know if serving little purpose and being "lost in the shuffle" are the same thing, but I don't see him as anything more than a sideshow for the time being.
And regarding the show, the only proof he ever existed is Shawn Michaels. Moving him away from Michaels and to Smackdown would be silly.

I tend to think he's more inclined to go the way of veteran returns that don't really catch on over more than a few weeks (Haku) than those that have another good run for 9-18 months (Goldust, Rikishi). | Mayhem

WWE doesn't care enough about the tag division to put one of their top stars in said division, even to win the titles. And I don't know how happy Shawn would be doing it, either.
I just hope signing Marty doesn't lead to him turning on Shawn in a SHOCKING SWERVE~! anytime soon.

Whatthey should do is have Shawn lose to Kurt at Mania (since Kurt deserves it anyway) and then have Shawn turn heel the next night on RAW taking out his fruistations on Jannety. This could provide us with Shawn's long awaited heel turn, an entertaining angle, and some classic matches. | hhhgamewmx7
