I don't follow the draft closely enough to go in-depth, but at the very least a guy who actually played more than one season in the NFL should be above a guy who burned out in weeks. Therefore, Ryan Leaf seems to me to be a bigger bust than Russell.

Jamarcus has only 4 more NFL starts than Leaf.

While I admit that I thought Leaf played less than what he did, a quick look at the stats shows this:
Russell- 18 TDs, 23 INTs
Leaf- 14 TDs, 30 INTs
Russell might have been the number one pick, but he at least played better than Leaf, so I can't see him being the bigger bust of the two.

ESPN'S "Outside the Lines" had a nice video piece on the "purple drank" the other day.
Sadly, Packers DL Johnny Jolly has been in trouble for this same thing for awhile now...his case is just taking forever to wind its way through the courts.
We might miss Aaron Kampman even more this year...
