Short version: Two stepbrothers (16 and 14) get shotguns and blast away at I-40 in Tennessee, killing one. Kids claim "We didn't mean to hurt anyone or shoot people, we were just emulating Grand Theft Auto." Family of slain driver hires JACK THOMPSON to sue Take Two Interactive.
Yes, THAT Jack Thompson -- the guy who's led crusades against Howard Stern, 2 Live Crew, Madonna, South Park and Ice-T, the guy who ran against Janet Reno in Florida and demanded that she fill out a form publically declaring her sexual preference, and whose latest crusade declares that violent video games are responsible for multiple shootings, including Columbine, Paducah, and the Washington snipers.
Conveniently, Jack forgets to ask: 1) How two teens got their hands on GTA games, 2) How two teens got their hands on shotguns, 3) And who was responsible for those two teens (y'know, PARENTS) during the time leading up to the shooting.
But that's never stopped Jack before...
"When WCW tries to be racy, it's generally about as light-heartedly entertaining as watching a man rape a woman in a chicken yard." -- Dark Cheetah
It's really pretty. There's a story (and I guess a moral) to it, but there isn't a whole lot of game there. I bought it at $10 and didn't regret it, but I played through it once and probably won't ever do so again. Anyone tried this? Any thoughts?
