It's like that episode of "Seinfeld" where George insisted that everyone call him "T-Bone."

Or back in 1993 when Doc Gooden put out a press release stating that he was officially changing his nickname from Doc to "Uptown" Gooden. That really caught on.

Here's a name no one mentioned that should be on the list:

I was upset with this list at first, it left off just about every writer I read on the Internet, then I found a parody of Flea's list, so everything was put in place for me.

I think (I hope) he was referring to my column (from the link below).... Lord knows we need some publicity at ITR... anyways, my column had something of a parody.

Thank god someone finally created an objective and fair IWC 100. You have a bright future in the industry with work like that!

Wow, you totally missed the joke there, dude.

See, in Bulldog's list, I'm there like 10 different times, whereas in Flea's list, I'm there once. Therefore, I would like Bulldog's list better.

They're right -- sarcasm really DOESN'T translate well on the internet...

My mistake.

I thought you were offering a dry and pissy response to Flea's list, rather than a joke about Bulldog's.

I much prefer the joke!

Whoa, whoa, whoa -- you got mentioned in there more than once?? Let me just go back and.... oh, yeah, I see it now. Someone stuffed the ballot box, I'm assuming (Scotsman, I'm looking at YOU).

Now you have to buy MY book, dude.

I'd just like to say Scooter Keith is a tool. Hyatte should've been ahead of him, regardless if he took a few months off. He's infintely better than Scooter could ever wish to be.

Wow, I've been so schooled. And the way you used "Scooter" just like Hyatte does was like a double wallop. What can I say? I have no defense against such a skilled argument. I can only hope that Flea doesn't drop me 10 places on the next list and thus ruin my standing on the internet forever as a result of such a finely constructed work of art, as this post was.

My hat is off to you, sir.

My post is, most likely, stupid and pointless, but I had to point out that the great Hyatte gives us public use of the term "Scooter". This was passed on only a year and 4 days ago , upon the 8th of June, 2002. It states:

Last week I reported that Jeremy Botter finally cracked under the pressure of dealing with "Scooter" Keith (they called him "Scooter" back at RSPW ten years ago... high time we bring it back) and ran to join the Army of God.

The full Midnight News can be found here, but most likely no one cares.

Anytime, anywhere, fatty. I'll debate you on ANYTHING! Bring it on tubby! And how do you know Hyatte calls you Scooter if you don't read him? Huh? HUH????

And I usually spend my time on another chat board but since Scooter posts here, I figured I'd let him know how I and MANY other people think about him.
