When the Raptors drafted Ed Davis, I officially adopted the Jake Delhomme "Interception" face. Part bewilderment, part disgust. Well, it was fun being a Raptor fan.

Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"
Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"
Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

Loved what OKC did with their draft. Trading for Aldritch was brilliant.
If you're a Knicks fan, watching Utah take Gordon Hayward is yet another reason to stick more pins in your Isiah Thomas voodoo doll.

Perhaps it was the Noid who should have avoided me.

Daniel Orton is like the Matt Cassel of the NBA. Played 13 minutes a game for a year in college and only averaged 3 points and 3 rebounds. And apparently he was also injured for most (all?) of his senior year in high school? It's nearly a miracle he even made it onto the roster at Kentucky, but that near miracle has made him a guaranteed millionaire. Good for him.
As a Hawks fan, I'm giddy that we got Jordan Crawford. However, I was terrified about what we might do with our second round picks since we seem to like to... experiment, with European guys. Guys that we draft and then we never hear from ever again. Sure enough, that's what we did. I was squeezing my girlfriend's hand for nearly the entire 4.5 hours praying that Solomon Alabi would fall to us at 31 and then again at 53. When we traded away pick #31 I nearly had a heart attack. How does this team expect to compete against Orlando without a legit center??
But when we got into the 50s and he was still on the board (and rated best available by Jay Bilas! eek!), I let myself hope. But alas. Thank you, Dallas, for drafting him at 50 and then happily shipping him away. And thank you, Atlanta, for drafting a guy that averaged 6 points per game in France when Hamady N'diaye, who averaged 4.5 blocks last season, was still available. Sigh, I thought Billy Knight was out of our system...

And they couldn't get to the Final Four.
Freshmen led teams rarely do, but I see where you are going. Beats the NIT like last year regardless . Nice to have four more 5 star kids taking their place.
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
CRZ should be STOKED about Sacramento picking up the man Kentucky fans call Boogie. Don't listen to all that crap you hear about attitude, etc. He plays hard, rebounds like a demon, and scores down low. He wants to win and compete. He'll frutrate you from time to time, but he's outgoing and will endear himself to Kings fans.
Orton would have played 30 minutes a game had it not been for Cousins and Patterson. There are doubts about his knee and to be perfectly honest I think he's more of a tempramental headcase than Cousins - and I watched every one of their games while wearing blue tinted glasses and drinking blue cool aid. Hopefully Orton settles in at Orlando and finds 20 minutes a game and develops. He can't hit a free throw to save his life.
As to UK failing to make the Final 4 in Cal's first year with a freshman led team on a night said team plays its' worst game of the year? Shit happens, but as Kentish pointed out they've reloaded the roster with better shooters and will play more DDM this year and be in the conversation next March before supplying next year's draft with 3 likely lottery picks in Enes Kanter, Terrence Jones, and Brandon Knight (and then replace those guys with Marquise Teague, Michael Gilchrist, and hopefully Quincy Miller).
