| #1 Posted on 24.11.08 1945.05 | I apologise if I stepped on anyone's toes in making this thread--didn't intend to steal anyone's thunder.
It's a musical episode, and the results are equal parts hilarity, incompetence, and nightmare fuel.
Rarely do we get to see Charlie in charge of the gang's latest scheme, but man he was the glue that held this together. From the delirious content of the musical (which has many hum-able tunes that no one should ever hum, ever), to his ever-escalating anger ("I will smack your face off of your face!") to the final reveal, this was a Charlie tour de force.
This was a strong season ender and definitely made my top three of the season--"Mac and Dennis: Manhunters" and "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" are the other two.
What did y'all think?

As for the season, what can top Sinbad and Rob Thomas? Seriously? | Enojado Viento

"Sing a song, Rob--Shut up!"
I dunno, man. That was a funny episode, but Charlie going wildcard, thinking he's a cannibal, faking his own death (badly) and threatening to smack people into little pieces is a tough hand to beat.

And, as such, I can no longer take him seriously. At all. Damn you, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia for sending me on a one-way voyage to the unemployment line! | djp

I just watched this and yeah it was pretty high on the list. I didn't see the other two you mentioned, but my favs so far are "Mac and Charlie Die, Part I", and "Erotic Life".
The audience actually enjoying such as horrible mess was funny to me. |
