Oh, in that case I can be of little assistance. You know its because of stupid folks like me that the WWE try not to have 2 wrestlers with the same Christian name ;)
He worked a dark match with Funaki two Smackdowns ago. Didn't look bad, those Tough Enough kids sure like throwing armdrags. Both guys worked as faces.

I think the feeling has always been that Cappotelli was gonna make it but that Hennigan was gonna be a project and won out of being the 2nd best of a bad lot. At least, that's what I remember being the story kicking around when those guys won last year.
If Hennigan is as bad as fuelinjected says, maybe they're going the Josh Mathews route with him in that they think he has value but not as a wrestler. If they think Cappotelli is gonna be worthwhile there's no sense in rushing him through, but if they've given up on John as a wrestler then they might as well bring him up and see how he'll do in that Coach-like role. I think he's doing well as Johnny Nitro, but if they try him out and they're not happy with him, they might as well cut him now and save themselves time and money. In other words, no sense keeping a guy you only see as a toadie or a manager in development.
Holly vs. Cappotelli on SD house shows? Interesting...we're getting one of those here next month, I hope they're still doing that one.
Well I'm glad this thread isn't referencing WCW of 1995. The Dungeon of Doom, the Hulk Rules CD, knock-off action figures ala 1980s WWF LJN toys, Pastamania, Kensuke Sasaki winning the United States Heavyweight Title from Sting in a match in JAPAN, Evad Sullivan, Renegade, the alleged attendance figure for Bash at the Beach that year-- 100,000 when it was but a tenth of that, Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater as WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS-- YIPE!!! And the thing about THAT is, WCW was trying to pass a lot of that BS off as legitimate! (Like the 'brawl' between DDP and Evad at a gas station. The segment even had sound effects added in for the punches thrown, like what one would hear in any TV show. I KID YOU NOT!)
It took the birth of Nitro in September that year to get WCW somewhat out of the doldrums, eventually.
But Nitro has returned!!!
Well, Johnny Nitro, that is.
