....according to ESPN:

Forwards
Carmelo Anthony
Carlos Boozer
Richard Jefferson
Shawn Marion
Lamar Odom

Centers
Tim Duncan
Emeka Okafor
Amare Stoudermire

Guards
Allen Iverson
LeBron James
Stephon Marbury
Dwayne Wade

Is it just me or is this roster, given the experience level, just a touch underwelming. This actually is agreat Olympic team...for 2008.

Looks like the Serbs have a great shot.

God Bless Ronald Reagan, and may he rest in peace...

* * * * * * *

For decades, American had waged a Cold War, and few believed it could possibly end in our own lifetimes. The president was one of those few. And it was the vision and the will of Ronald Reagan that gave hope to the oppressed, shamed the oppressors and ended an evil empire . . . Ronald Reagan was more than a historic figure. He was a providential man who came along just when our nation and the world most needed him.

Fellow Americans, here lies a graceful and a gallant man.
- Dick Cheney, 6/9/2004

Reagan had a rare and prized gift called leadership, that ineffable and sometimes magical quality that sets some men and women apart so that millions will follow them as they conjure up grand visions and invite their countrymen to dream big and exciting dreams.-Brian Mulroney, 6/11/2004

I like the team, and I'll think it will be more interesting this way. Let's face it if we send Shaq, Duncan, Garnett, Iverson, Kobe, Lebron, McGrady, then the USA wins in a landslide. I don't want to see boring blowouts, I want to see a good competitive game. If you send college players the USA doesn't win, this is a good team somewhere inbetween those two.

I love that Carmelo finally got in, along with Lebron, Wade, Okafor, Stoudermire, these guys are the future of the NBA and if they want to play more than the veteran guys then I'm all for it.

I don't know. They have a roster that actually wants to play and aren't quite so spoiled and childish this way. They can still win it.

Even if they don't, I like the young guys. Actually, I wish they would go back to the days of nonpros. We might get our butts kicked but it would be more enjoyable.
