Oh and Kiffin has a much worse career record than Gailey and just landed in a much more stressful top position. Very few lols and complaints from the fanbase there.

I had classes and ate meals with some football players who had played under George O'Leary and also under Gailey. To a man, they all said Gailey has an incredibly weak personality. Wouldn't even so much as utter a curse word when he was trying to fire up his players. I remember when Reggie Ball was installed as our starting QB (barf), apparently Gailey didn't tell anybody of the change despite the fact that everyone on the team was under the impression another returning player (Demarius Bilbo) had already won the job. Instead, Ball just started taking first-team snaps right before the season started. None of the guys respected Gailey. At all.
If this guy can't even control a locker room full of college kids, how the hell is he supposed to handle an NFL team? If for some reason they re-sign T.O., this team is going ever further down the tubes. Talk about inmates running the asylum.

Gailey made it to the playoffs both seasons as Dallas coach and they were 5-11 the season after he left. They haven't really improved since he's left, either.
