Time has come when I stop putting the name Michaels in the same line as Benoit and Angle. Speaking of which, Benoit-Orton was pretty daan nice.

I got more enjoyment out of HBK/Shelton than HBK/Angle since H/S wasn't as "paint by numbers" as H/A was. HBK saves the effort for the PPV matches, with his TV stuff being, well, let's say "reserved" ("mat wrestling"-chop-chop-chop-finishing sequence).

Some would say Angle shouldn't be in the same line w/ Benoit, what with Angle's wonky psychology & spot-heavy offense.

I was happy to see the matchwork this week because it showed Shelton has plenty of firepower and is learning in the ring. Thats more important in a match Shawn was unlikely to lose and with a manager with whom Shelton could himself easily phone it in.
I would complain more than Michaels needs an image refresher. Cut the hair, lose the chaps, etc. He needs to display that he's matured beyond the attitude that Mr. McMahon is trying to revive.

Or is he injured and working through it at a time when the use of wrestler's recovery drugs of steroids and painkillers have been (supposedly) banned?

Indeed it was.

And I'd love for him to stop using the same seven-move finishing sequence over and over, too. It's starting to get comical.

This may sound stupid, but have you noticed the way he's been walking for the past three-four weeks? Looks like he's been kicked up the arse, really, really hard. Every time he sells his back during his matches, I find myself wondering how legit it might actually be.
