OK- I have been a Lions fan for as long as I can remember. And they have pretty much always been mediocre or worse (except for the NFC Championship loss year, which was an obvious fluke). Last year I forgave the terrible record since there was a new coach.
Now this year (especially after last week's game) I am starting to get frustrated again. Just how long do we have to wait for a good team? Is it time to get ANOTHER new coach? Just who do we have to kill to get a decent season out of this team?
Maybe I am tired of havng to "admit" I am a Lions fan....

Detroit Lions! 1-4!
Hmmm... better than last year so far...
But then, why do I still want blood?

I think they are making progress. Problem is that there are so many holes that you cannot expect an immeadiate turnaround. I think that next year you will begin to see progress and in 2 years they should be 7-9 or 8-8.

These commercials are superfine because they pay for the production costs of putting CHRIS MOTHERFUCKING BENOIT on my GODDAMN TV SCREEN! I will GO GREYHOUND! I am thinking OUTSIDE THE BUN! Dean Rasmussen 8/1/2002 Smackdown Workrate Report

They have DONE the 7-9, 8-8 thing though. I want a Super Bowl appearance, and I do not want to have to wait 20 damned years for it! lol
They ARE showing a bit of progress though, I have to admit that...
