Since Stacy Kiebler has accomplished two of the most impossible tasks in wrestling history: getting a crowd to almost care about David Flair and Test, does this make her the diametric opposite of Torrie Wilson, who sucks (no pun intended, or maybe it was) the heat off of wrestlers like Tajiri (remember him). To future mid carders: If you have a choice between Stacy or Torrie accompanying you to ringside, take Stacy, as Torrie sends wrestlers to the Rikishi/Jeff Jarrett of the mid 90's black hole of crowd reaction.

People used to care about Test back before they really buried him. He was mega over in 99 until they made him look like a complete dork for never getting revenge for HHH stealing his bride.

He was also getting over pretty good during the Alliance days last year but it went nowhere.

Chances to really establish a guy like Test don't come around often because he doesn't have the talent to survive a bunch of false pushes.

Tell that to Los Fabulosos, Lenny & Lodi, or Shawn Stasiak (twice).

Right. Before the whole "Testicles" thing, the only person Stacy got over was herself. The Dudley Boyz were over when she was with them, but it certainly wasn't because of her -- it was because of the 3-D, the Wazzup Drop, and of course tables.

I'm not saying Stacy doesn't do her job, of course -- it's just that on the scale of things that get a wrestler over, having a hot valet ranks relatively low.

She did almost make David Flair and Buff the Bagboy almost relevant, which for them is miraculous. Stacy still has a higher percentage of people getting a reaction for who she is with than Torrie, who is an albatross.

So...the Dudleyz were heels due to the moves they stopped using regularly? Intriguing theory. In actuality, the Dudz were dying as heels and the addition of Stacy added a certain something that gave 'em a significant boost.

I have to half agree with the original post. While I never cared about alot of the people Stacey has managed (especially David Flair) the whole Testicles thing is working good. Of course I actually liked Test before this anyway, but still I think the pairing of Stacey and Test is great.

So while i don't know if Stacey really gets everyone over she is atleast better at it than Torrie. I think everybody she has been with (Kidman, Shane Douglas, Tajiri) i've liked better without her. But then again, I think they SHOULD find somebody for her to be with or get rid of her, because not being one of the wrestling women, but not being a manager either doesn't make sense (same goes for Dawn Marie).

Also I liked that last night Test teamed with Trish even though he has Stacey because this should be an indication to us that the WWE does NOT want Stacey in matches and wants her in a manager role only.

Well...Test was Mega-Over when he was about to marry Steph. Everyone was waiting for him to get some revenge on HHH, but ummmm...well...he got treated like a chump instead. I really thought that was the beginning of the HHH-a-thon. Wrestling 101 dictates that Test get some kind of revenge on HHH. Not get Steph back or even a win in a match but atleast beat down HHH and then move on. But, nooooooo...he looked like a 3-time loser instead.

After that, he really was never the same. Even being teamed with the A-Train didn't help.

She should have a stable, a la Trish with T n A, except give Staci more than two wrestlers to manage.

They could always trade Big Show back for one wrestler(That being Stone Cold Steve Austin) and have him reform the Union with Test and a returning Ken Shamrock. Then they could bring in Rob Van Dam as the hardcore hero guy.

Is this really getting Test over? Is Stacy doing ANYTHING for him?
The 'testicles' jokes would get a pop with anyone..except Mae Young probably.

I don't think Stacy does anything for Test at all, in fact, showing him kissing her good will only make people hate him in a few weeks I figured.

Stacy hasn't done anything for anyone else as she draws attention to herself..it's like Lita with the Hardyz way back (and Lita didnt even have to shake her ass)

As for Torrie..I think the reason anybody she aligned herself with lost heat has nothing to do with her personally. She just doesn't have a character as far as wrestling is concerned. Now with the Al/Dawn/Torrie saga she still doesn't have one.
Yet the moment she was aligned with a wrestler the story/announcer focus shifted to her, thus the wrestler lost heat.

I don't know, I presonally never heard a pop for Test as loud as the one I heard on Monday, even during that whole thing with Stephanie. I know because I saw the whole angle, and literally fell asleep. He came off as a boring, normal guy, and well, that bores me (and a few other people). But lately, he's making me giggle a few times, so something's done right.

I think there's three types of valets. One that steal heat like Lita, one that adds nothing like Torrie, but I do think Stacy adds something if she's with the right person.

Is this going to help Test in the long run, don't really know. But WWE is such a short term operation now being somewhat over NOW is what's important. I think she interplays well with the crowd and her wrestler. I think she adds something to who she's managing... As for Stasiak I don't think Paul Heymans undivided attention could get that guy anymore over.

As for Torrie, I've never seen much more then her looks (and even that's not in the top 5 of the current WWE girls, not for me at least). She brings no personality or character with her, She's the Ryan Shamrock (not as pretty IMO) of 2000's... Like the names Quezzy mentioned, Billy Kidman much better in the flock then went with Torrie and his career dropped. Tajiri might be the most dramatic case, remember when he was with Regal and everyone was hurting for him to mist him and he finally did and left Regal, I honestly thought this might be the first time in a while that a foreign wrestler could become a legit top 5 face in the WWE, he had such amazing momentum until they stuck him with Torrie Wilson, she's the OJ Simpson of managers, she kills everyones career.

It still pisses me off seeing a lot of talented girls on Raw all battling for TV time while Torrie Wilson is the only face on Smackdown and has the show all to herself, and week in week out being one of the worst parts of that show.

I agree with the argument that Torrie sucks heat from her wrestlers, I'm just not sure why. She certainly doesn't have any personality, she's just a good looking blonde with big tits. Then you've got Trish, who's a blonde with big tits who kinda knows how to wrestle. Dawn's the brunette with big tits, Jackie's black with big tits and Lita's the redhead with big tits.

That's kinda why I like Stacey, she's breaking the mold, dammit! I never believed leg men before when they said they liked legs better than boobs, but now I kinda see their point!! Screw Chyna and her reconstructed face, Stacey's making the real strides for women (as long as they're still attractive and they have great gams!)

whew.

It was a good argument until you brought up the hideous creature that's engaged to Waltman.
Reading the paper of record today, The New York Post, there was an article about European researchers noticing that Playboy playmates have become more androgenous in the past 50 years. I guess they were going through the Chyna editions when they made this discovery.

I really think that X-Pac has the more feminine features in the relationship.

Did that Chyna Playboy really sell more copies than any other?
