I was talking to my ex girlfriend, who's a HUGE Spiderman Fan and she's insisting that Topher Grace isn't playing Eddie Brock and that there's this big twist. Anyone hear anything about this, or am I way late on this? Who is he playing then? Hogoblin?
Kevin Kelly: "Mr. Austin, would you like to comment on Wade Keller's Take that endorsing the XFL hurts your anti-authority character?"
Steve Austin: "Oh shit, he actually said that? I thought the boys in the back were ribbing me!"
Kelly: "No, he really said that. Did they tell you the part about you sitting in the stands, looking all skeptical?"
Austin: "AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeah... oh man that was too much."

There's debate (or maybe not, I haven't kept up) as to whether he's playing the Ultimate Spider-Man version of Venom or the original comic version of Venom (or some hybrid).

Its the plot to the fourth movie where Cesar leads the revolt against the humans. Interesting place to start, but in reality after Burton's debacle, its better to leave this franchise alone. The shock ending to the original is never going to be surpassed....
