So the WWF product is bad...

But, is the product as bad now as it was back when WCW was good and WWF was last bad?

Sure this ain't no Austin v. Vince, or Foley v. HHH, but is it as bad as it was when we had DOA v. Los Boriquas, or Undertaker v. the Executioner (RIP)...

Which is worse - now or then?

Just wondering what ya'll think....

Then by a long shot. I don't even think I need to go into further details.

Defintally, especially when you consider that most of the really dumb stuff (RIP Wrestlecrap) happened back then. These days it's nothin'

"Oh! The light! [pointing to the setting sun] Blackness comes when the light goes away!"
"Yeah, but this is getting to be a pretty regular thing."
"I don't care. It still scares the sh*t out of me."

"Fritz! Get up for God's sake, get up! They've killed Fritz, they've killed Fritz!"

I liked the crap back then better than the crap now, though. Stupid gimmicks are more entertaining that 20 minutes of Stephanie McMahon, asscrack or no asscrack.

Also, the crap now permeates the entire roster. Back then, it was just throwaway stuff that usually didn't involve the top stars or the major titles. I've quit watching RAW, and I never got to that point back '97. Well, I say I quit, but I just missed watching it last night, and didn't bother to tape it. And after reading the recaps, I'm glad I didn't. From now on it's just Sunday Night Heat for me.

I maintain my sanity with today's products by continually reminding myself of:

a) Attitude
b) WCW under Vince Russo

I actually wind up liking the shows more...albeit just a little. ;-)

hey what about WWF under Russo at the attitude era's peak? IMHO that was one of the worst periods of WWF tv ever, and the internet loved it. Everything the WWF did in 1999 was perfect as far as WWF goes. Russo left WWF and now according to everyone he sucks. Some people even started to say they disliked his WWF booking. Whatever. I didn't like Russo when he handled WWF or WCW and the bottom line is that he sucks.

Aye, this'll be the fifth WrestleMania in a row in which a McMahon was involved in the main event-- in some way, shape or form. Damn it.
