I haven't been reading comics for the past several years so I was hoping someone could answer a question for me. I have a 5 year old nephew that loves superheroes and want to know everything about them. I can generally answer most of his questions, or find the answer somewhere, but this one has me stumped and he is very curious.
I found a figure the other day of Iron Man in Captain American armor. It is painted red and blue and came with Cap's shield. The package said "Concept Armor." So my question is, did Iron Man ever actually wear this armor in the last few years? If so, why?
Do you have a picture? Cap wore some armor back in the mid '90s, and there was an Iron Man image that came out around the end of Civil War that had him in red, white and blue armor, but if you could describe it better, or had a picture, I could tell you for sure.

The first DC crossover for The New 52 has been announced and it's taking place in the Batman books, under the auspices of Scott Snyder, who's writing Batman, currently in the midst of a great "Court of Owls" storyline.
