It feels like the spectacle is going to revolve around Ben Kingsley's Mandarin, who's doing a fine Liam Neeson's Ra's Al Ghul impression. I'm sold on the guy as the villain.
This trailer is hinting at a much darker Iron Man and I'm not sure I necessarily like that. Yeah, I was the one that wanted Demon in a Bottle, but I also know what I like from the Iron Man movies. I like that they're fun, irreverent romps. They're lighter, campier versions of the Batman films. I've had my fill of dark superhero movies, so I hope this isn't another one of those. But I'll give Shane Black the benefit of the doubt.
Curious that there's no sign of Samuel L. Jackson yet. But the theory floating around IGN is that IM3, Thor 2, and Cap 2 are all going to be happening simultaneously.
I've been big on the show since last season and even got to sit in on a Q&A with the cast earlier in the year. It had a good start last year, but I started falling a little out of it near the end of the season.
