Anyone catch this last night? I thought I'd give it a whirl because it had Shatner in it, though the awful commercials for the show almost made me not tune in.
I thought it was okay, but nothing special. There are no real "characters" you could get in to, either the "real" people or the actors. They just seemed so bland. The best parts were Shatner carrying his EMMY Award everywhere, and when he asked the priest if he could knock out a stained glass window in the church for filming.
This was done kinda quickie style (but really not very quickly) - see if you notice any difference. This week's new releases total out to 174 DVDs, 38 Blu-rays and 15 "digital" titles. Happy Birthday, President Lincoln!
