Hell yes a show in Iowa! To bad I don't understand the whole concept besides the fact Shattner will be making everyone look like idiots. Still gonna check it out.

There was a bunch of stories about this - last year? Whenever SpikeTV did their upfront, that's vague about it.

It's by the people behind Joe Schmoe. The Big Concept is they prank a whole town into believing they're the location for a space movie, with William Shatner doing over the top William Shatner things.

Could go either way.

I wasn't really paying attention but its hard not to notice "THE SHAT" written across my TV screen.

I agree that it could go either way but I'll give it a look.

Denny Crane.

Really enjoyed it. I'm also (even more) interested in seeing Sorkin's play about Philo Farnsworth and the invention of TV, which apparently touches on some of the same themes. In terms of Oscarness, I'm not really feeling any acting nominations.
