The Walking Dead returns on Sunday for the second half of season two. Vulture has an interview with Glen Mazzara (, the showrunner who replaced Frank Darabont. There's a lot of interesting information clearing up rumors of the creative problems backstage that lead to Darabont getting fired, and how the first half of the season turned out the way it did. The interview skews towards the writer-ly side of things, but there's good stuff to be had in the interview.

I believe I will be doing the recap for The Walking Dead here when it returns, based on the number of people who do watch on The W (The W)

I pray this season is good. I was severly disappointed last season but promised to stick it out for one more season.

Life is hilariously cruel.

I also enjoyed this very much. Two nitpicks though: 1) The CGI enhanced chase/shootout scene in the forest outside the munitions plant was a little overdone. I just hate watching a movie, which is live action (not a fantasy/Avatar type)
