Wow. Live365.com internet radio is amazing. They've got entire radio stations dedicated to Styx, The Beatles, Air Supply, love duets, rock 'n roll, Beethoven, and just about anything a music fan's heart could possibly desire.

Definitely worth a look-see.

I used to enjoy live365 until we got this damn Sonicwall crapola here at work. Rats.

[shill] WOE is the Orange Entropy call letters on live 365. I think you should all go there and hear the indie insanity. Who knows maybe you'll get lucky and hears some J.C. & the Noise, or some Shawn's Friends from New Jersey.[/shill]

hey Frosty is there anyway for me to get my hands on some of you DJin' skills yo? I'd love to hear your work.

Oh yeah, I never thought of that. My bad.

And on a side-note, Dial up = TRASH.

Check out The Iceberg for lots of online radio stuff...

My ex-girlfriend works there and she'd kill me if I didn't plug the site when an opportunity like this arose.

I used to love Imagine Radio, which later became Sonicnet...when you could configure your own station and music mix (down to artists, but not to tracks unfortunately).

I hear VERY good things about XM Radio (the satellite service) as well.

I'm on launch.com
It takes alot of tweaking, but with a little messing around you can essentially tell it to never play artists you don't like. and when their songs come up you can tell it to never play the song again. it cuts out occasionally on cable modem, and there are some pop up ads, but not to the point of being overly annoying. and it's part of yahoo, so it's resources are pretty extensive.

I very much want to get XM, but I'm really annoyed there's no "just plain home" model. You have to buy the plug and play and then the "home stereo adapter." cha-ching.

Of course, I acutally want it for ESPN radio, because our local affialite in VA has too many local sports that me, a transplant, could care less about, in the grand scheme of things.

Bah, fuck live365. They're now charging to broadcast. I used to broadcast there, but then my computer screwed up so I couldn't broadcast. And, being absent from broadcasting for too long (a month, I think is the limit) moved me into the "paying suckers" category. Sure, it's still free to listen, but I wanna broadcast damnit! And I'm too stupid to figure out the other ways

I might have to turn over from VH-1 Classic and see if they actually have video of Tommy talking about it. Geez, I can't wait for him to finish this cash run and fund the Replacement's reunion tour!!! Okay, I might be exaggerating a LITTLE bit.
