As well know Chris Jericho's father, Ted Irvine, was a hockey player (he played for the Bruins, Kings, Rangers and Blues. And on a side note for those who question Jericho 'Canadian'-born status. His father was from Winnipeg, but Jericho was born while his father was playing in New York.)

Where was I? Oh Jericho's father played hockey and Jericho is a huge hockey fan. And once again is participating in the Celebrity All-Star game. The game takes place this Wednesday. (The game will be aired on E! Sunday sometime. And possibly on the NHL Network here in Canada.) But ALSO participating in the game as an Assistant Coach (?) is GOLDBERG!!!!!

I would LOVE to see Jericho take a whack at Goldberg with his hockey stick

Anyways here's a link to the page on NHL.com http://www.nhl.com/allstar2002/celebritygame012402.html

EDIT: BETTER?

Though I know that GOldberg does alot of charity and is a big name, I wouldn't have expected him to show up at a hockey game.

Would be fun to have Jericho go up to him and do the 'belt tease' thing he does on the ramp these days
Or in case they are on different teams (and Chris' team wins) to tell everyone is Jericho 5 and Greenberg 0 now

Seriously. Hope Chris has a fun outing, and that the wwf takes the time to show some of it.
I know htey did last year..or that might have been the Rangers charity. I recall him sliding down the eyes and/or fighting right about everyone..

Ya that was the Ranger's charity game he did last year and he staged a fight between himself and the ref.

I'll watch only if he promises to put Denis Leary in the Walls of Jericho.

we all saw Jericho try to put Kane into the Walls... now imagine him and another guy (Leary if you will), both of them in pads and both WEARING SKATES. Needless to say, there would be blood on the ice.

Is that like.... the greatest nickname ever for X-Pac? I mean you have to admit - with that fuzzy beard of his, Sean Waltman does look rodent-like. The question I have is how soon will we be seeing signs in the crowd that say that or even "Rat Boy....
