If he is coming back, he must come out to some variation of his absolutely awesome Crow theme, though. If they can get a creepy girl to say that little speech beforehand, even better.

Funny. I just rewatched Halloween Havoc 1995 yesterday and that tag match is a thing of beauty. Heenan almost gives it away by saying Flair never touches Anderson or Brian during the match. One of my favorite beatdowns cause you knew it was coming, but there was just enough doubt to make you think that it might not happen... then Sting gets a beatdown.

Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.

I remember Sting saying "I'll tag with you this one time... but if you swerve (actually used the term 'swerve') me..." and thinking NO WAY would they have Flair turn on him after he actually mentions it to the audience. Alas....

Even though they had weird nonsense like the "Yet-Tay" and Dungeon of Doom, late '95 WCW when Nitro was brand new and trying to directly compete with Vince had some really fun TV. The new Horsemen angle, while completely telegraphed, was pretty great. I loved the Flair vs Arn match they did at Fall Brawl and Pillman was just finally starting to break out of his post-Hollywood Blonds slump.

Sting did something along the same lines shortly after Hulk Hogan turned back to the red and yellow.

"If you screw me... I'll GET'CHA."

And then Sting turns on Hogan - and naturally, gets cheered for it. My favorite Funny Sting Moment of All-Time came during that brief heel turn, when Sting jumped Hogan as he was signing autographs for kids.

"Hey, Hulkster, can I have an autograph tooooo?"

"Has it never occured to anyone that maybe Kane attacked him, because no one likes The Miz?"

According to the ratings, this show pulled in a really strong number in the male demographic. And correct me if I'm wrong, but they didn't have the Ultimate Fighter lead-in either. Good news for the TNA folks.
