Who cares about Rollerball, but I would jump at the chance to get a WWE pay-per-view at a third of the usual price. Was Insurexion any good? Did anyone see it or remember any reports on it?

| #5 Posted on 14.8.02 1210.36 | The shoow ROCKED this year. However, I was five rows from the front with a big PLANET STASIAK sign, so my opinion may be somewhat skewed. if you order the show, look for my sign just before the Hardyz match!

| #6 Posted on 14.8.02 1825.09 | No A-Mol, I am not wrong as I said USUALLY the only title to change hands in the worthless hardcore. The Hardcore Title is still going which goes to show how worthless and pointless the European Title was.

| #7 Posted on 14.8.02 1835.35 | So are you saying that the ONLY way something is good is if a title changes hands? What about good matches? Entertainment? It is pretty sad if you are a "final results" kind of guy in a so-called-sport with predetermined outcome. As long as the match is entertaining, I do not care if none of the champions loose their titles... long title runs are good anyway.

I think you may have missed his point. I think what he was trying to say was that nothing Significant happens on the UK PPVs. No fueds, or storylines are furthered. Sometimes TV fueds are forgotten so they can give the UK crowd a money match like Austin- Rock. Im sure it kind of takes away from a PPV feel when you KNOW nothing major will happen. Ive always wondered why the WWF just doesnt forget calling it a PPV and just do a RAW or Smackdown from there.

| #9 Posted on 14.8.02 1935.31 | I think they'd like to do an overseas Raw or Smackdown, but with time differentials being what they are, it isn't feasible. Especially since they like having Raw air live on the east coast.
Besides, by doing a British only PPV, it allows them to get more than just the usual house show revenue back when they travel over there.
And while nothing of significance happens, there are some good matches that take place, so use that as your guide for deciding whether or not you'd like it.
I want to get up and do something. I just... can't. |
