Dish Network is offering what appears to be a sweet package - you pay $10.95 and get the R-rated version of Rollerball (yawn) but you also get the WWE Insurexion pay-per-view from England.
Who cares about Rollerball, but I would jump at the chance to get a WWE pay-per-view at a third of the usual price. Was Insurexion any good? Did anyone see it or remember any reports on it?

"YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?" - The chilling words of the Shockmaster!

"Here comes Charles Benoit, and he's really mad.....Charles Benoit is here, and he's FUCKING CRAZY"- T.R. on the barbecued cat thread (it's too terrible to link)

THE AWESOME UNDERTAKER drives out - damn, how did those STEEL steps rise up onto their ends and out of the way of - hey wait, I see DUDES there! They must be soulless minions of Big Evil's Red Devil Underwood Deviled Ham Team Evil. What? - CRZ, back to his old antics

I missed this one. They usually are pretty good. The crowd should be up for it if nothing else. Plus, the UK crowds also seem to entertain the wrestlers and they get a bit more pumped up.

Every PPV in Engaland sucks, apart from One Night Only in 1997, all the PPV's have been substandard episodes of Raw with the only title changing hands usually the worthless Hardcore.

Jesse Ventura:"He just hit him with the belt, thats a disqualifaction!, where the hell is the referee?."
Tony Schiavone:"But that's on the outside of the ring Jesse".
Jesse Ventura:"So what?, what are you going to tell me Schiavone, you can shoot somebody outside of the ring, as long as it's outside the ring?, you are even dumber than Monsoon, I thought Gorilla was the stupidest man alive!."

The shoow ROCKED this year. However, I was five rows from the front with a big PLANET STASIAK sign, so my opinion may be somewhat skewed. if you order the show, look for my sign just before the Hardyz match!

-Jonny Depp as Edward D. Wood, Jr. in Ed Wood. Or is it Vince Russo upon his triumphant return to WWE-Land?

No A-Mol, I am not wrong as I said USUALLY the only title to change hands in the worthless hardcore.
The Hardcore Title is still going which goes to show how worthless and pointless the European Title was.

So are you saying that the ONLY way something is good is if a title changes hands? What about good matches? Entertainment? It is pretty sad if you are a "final results" kind of guy in a so-called-sport with predetermined outcome. As long as the match is entertaining, I do not care if none of the champions loose their titles... long title runs are good anyway.

I think you may have missed his point. I think what he was trying to say was that nothing Significant happens on the UK PPVs. No fueds, or storylines are furthered. Sometimes TV fueds are forgotten so they can give the UK crowd a money match like Austin- Rock. Im sure it kind of takes away from a PPV feel when you KNOW nothing major will happen. Ive always wondered why the WWF just doesnt forget calling it a PPV and just do a RAW or Smackdown from there.

I think they'd like to do an overseas Raw or Smackdown, but with time differentials being what they are, it isn't feasible. Especially since they like having Raw air live on the east coast.

Besides, by doing a British only PPV, it allows them to get more than just the usual house show revenue back when they travel over there.

And while nothing of significance happens, there are some good matches that take place, so use that as your guide for deciding whether or not you'd like it.

I want to get up and do something. I just... can't.

It is good for them if they can get into the Chicago market. We were always extremely good to ECW, to the point where I am fairly sure their 2 largest crowds ever are both Chicago-area events (at the lovely Villa Park Odeum)
