They've made a believer out of me. I think they have a chance at it all now.
It took 15 years. In my last semester of school ever. But I finally did it. The kid who was supposed to barely finish high school has received an A minus average. This makes me want to go back home.....see all those teachers in high school, my former class mates. And eventually (if I ever see him again), my father. All those people who said I wouldn't cut it, that I'd be nothing. And that I probably wouldn't make it past high school. I want to see them all. And I will enjoy shoving all those comments down their respective throats with a hot branding iron.

Is ANY goalie safe against these guys? they're mowing down all the names like a hot knife through butter.

| #5 Posted on 5.6.02 0059.35 | Yeah they beat some of the best goalie in the NHL and the world, but there is another reason why they are in the finals.
The Maple Leafs didn't know who to take out.
They couldn't decide who was more pivotal to the team's sucess.Francis,Irbe,O'Neill,Brind'amour, they couldn't decide who they wanted to take out so they were confused and lost the series and I am happy for the 'Canes. | Bullitt

Got my OT fix in while working out this morning - The WhalerCanes are 7-1 in OT this playoffs - pure magic
Still say Detroit is going to take it all but at least it won't be boring

Indeed. I believe this line will go in my sig for the remainder of the playoffs.

| #9 Posted on 5.6.02 1231.07 | including last night's game, the wings are: home: 6-5 (0-3 in OT) road: 6-2
i know it's the playoffs, but that kind of home record plus 0-3 in OT aren't championship caliber numbers. at least the wings aren't making me suffer long when they lose in OT.

| #10 Posted on 6.6.02 0212.56 | I saw the game last night and was impressed by the Canes. Not one moment did it look like David vs Goliath!
And that OT goal..he just stood there waiting. Both teams played great though.

Good lookin' out, El Nastio.
Canes got (at least) the split on the road they were looking for. Taking tonight's game to go up 2-0 would be incredible.

Hey, I've said it before and I'll say it again...
Flames'll be #1 next year, guaranteed!
That being said, I still can't freakin' believe that the Whalers might win the Cup. MIGHT. If they win tonight, they will.

The usual sig has been removed for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in favor of something else which deserves some spotlight.
