I'm really enthralled with this story. Partly because as a wrestling fan I've heard similar stories for years about guys like JBL. Also there is the whole dynamic where a bunch of guys see this happening and nobody tries to stop it. The more that comes out of this story the more curious it seems to me that people think Jonathan Martin is a pussy for not fighting a guy who is looking for that sort of thing. Jonathan Martin did what I think was the right thing by turning the other cheek and walking away instead of engaging in a fight with a thug.
There's a lot of different layers here that go beyond the Miami Dolphins, and into what we expect from one another to what we expect of our kids.
Richie Incognito sounds like he has some real problems to work out and is generally a piece of crap, but the fact that he was given free reign and then backing from the locker room is very troubling.
Like I said a lot of layers and surely more to come.
Its pretty much all, but confirmed that the Red Code was ordered, but Incognito took it to a whole new level. Martin is going to see a giant settlement in the near future. The fact so many of Incognito's teammates are standing by him is very troubling. Martin is done in the NFL. No team will touch him. The sad part is I see Incognito going to the Raiders or Pats or some team that doesn't give a shit about its perception.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

Belichick would have cut Incognito so fast he wouldn't have known what hit him. I also can't see Incognito pulling that crap in a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady locker room.
Why are people treating Martin like he's the bad guy here?!
(I don't mean "you" people, I mean teammates, people associated with the NFL, et cetera).

Probably because they have a similar mentality as the people in the WWE had when they looked down on John Morrison for "being a wimp" because he didn't at least attempt to beat the shit out of Batista for screwing his girlfriend.
