A little over a year after being fired for making what were perceived as racist and sexist comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team, Don Imus is courting controversy again over a potentially racist remark made about an athlete.
When sports host Warner Wolf explained that Adam "Pacman" Jones who was suspended in 2007 following a Last Vegas nightclub shooting incident had been arrested six times, Imus asked, "What color is he?"
A slightly confused Wolf responded, "He's African American."
Imus then said, "Well, there you go. Now we know."
Before anyone asks, the fact that Imus speaks out on a felon and thug like "Pacman" Jones instead of the innocent girls of Rutgers makes no difference. Especially when race wasn't a relevant issue at any point in today's story. IMUS brought up the race issue this time around and while I was willing to give the guy a second chance before, he's got no one but himself to blame for the inevitable media outbreak.
FSU didn't need max protect for that punt, they needed the right side blocker to not totally whiff on his block. It wasn't numbers, it was Heplea screwing up. But really, I'm tired of seeing Fisher turtle in close games.
