I saw its goodness, and I declared to all who would hear me that, by God, YES this shall be mine! And it shall be for, lo, I just ordered it.

I LIKE that, and I own NO official rasslin' shirts yet. That looks like the perfect barbecuing shirt, but it's going to have to be for DH instead of yours truly, because WWE doesn't make any of their good designs in women's sizes.

Eddie G. is one of the few rasslers I would consider supporting in public, especially since most of his designs have nice graphics and will not get you thrown off airplanes. But I'm going to have to wait until they sell something in XXS.

I'd be more inclined to wear wrestling shirts if they didn't always have a stupid 'WWE' logo on the back of them. They need to nix those.

Walmart in the bargain bin is selling Wrestlemania I-IX for $5.50. The DVD is worth buying if to only hear the awkwardness of Gorilla Monsoon commentating with Jim Ross. Vinny Mac is the host decked out in his announcer outfit and in total kayfabe.

Those and the dumbass slogans they put on the back of just about every single shirt. Less would truly be more with these shirts. Sometimes you can get away with a cool design on the front like the shirt above or Rey's mask or what have you, but if you put some retarded slogan on the back it's going to turn off any fan with any fashion sense whatsoever.

And yeah, I know people that DON'T wear enormous sized t-shirts, so any wrestling shirt is pretty much out of their size. And - AND - they always make the neckholes HUGE. I hate a huge neckhole more than just about anything on earth.

So, in summary, it would appear as though wrestling companies think of us as fatassed yokels with no, and I mean no, idea how to dress whatsoever.

Gotta agree there, although asking them to please not put a big WWE logo on shirts it would be like asking Spike Dudley to bench press 500 pounds.

There is so much stuff that would be better without those damn "slogans" that never pan out on the back...anyone remember the APA "Always Pounding Ass" shirt? How about the Owen Hart "Still Beatin'" shirt? Those are the extreme examples, but it certainly doesn't stop there.

Once in a while they'll put out an Undertaker shirt or hat that looks cool and is almost vague enough to warrant a purchase - meaning it doesn't scream "THIS IS A PRODUCT FOR THE UNDERTAKER, A PRO WRESTLER IN WWE." Example - this hat, as long as it doesn't have a giant WWE logo on the side or back would be fairly cool:

But stuff like that is rare. Most of the time it's shirts with moronic slogans on the back like "GAME NOT OVER" or "DOING IT 619 STYLE" or "FEAR THE SPEAR" or "BATISTA CRUSH YOU, URRGHH." Sorry, I don't need to see some fat 16-year-old nerd at Taco Bell wearing a shirt that proclaims "I WILL MAKE YOU TAP."

Reasons why most wrestling shirts are not for everyday public:

1) Price. Its like $25-30 for a shirt nowadays. Thats just rape (Katie Vick style).

2) Stupid "cutesy" slogans all over the shirt. That stuff went out when WHAM and Frankie Goes Hollywood broke up.

3) Crap printed on the back of the shirt. Apparently, WWE needs to either make the lettering HUGE and/or have both sides of the shirt covered with silly shit that just is begging for people to kick your ass.

I'd buy a shirt if the price was more reasonable and the just more simplified. You dont need allover print or bigass lettering. I'd totally buy a WWE shirt with a small WWE logo over the breast or something along those lines. KISS! (Keep It Simple Stupid).

It was FRANKIE Goes to Hollywood! (I had the shirt)

In early 99, I remember buying a Goldberg cap at a Nitro show in Toronto. It had the Goldberg tattoo on the front of the cap, "You're Next" on the back, and the old blocky WCW logo on the side. It took me about 90 minutes of painful work to remove the WCW stitching. I thought the hat looked much cooler once I was done.

I hate to see El Dandy's good name being dragged through the mud like this. I'd venture a guess that this doesn't last too long.
