What a bad, unproductive show. Garett main evented and was all over the show, a guy won a women's title, a comedy match went ~2 minutes longer than an Aries singles match, Morgan & Crimson are booked in another PPV match, and Anderson & "Abyss" returned. What a step down from last week.
Garett being in another main event and having another episode built around him is absurd. That match may have been OK since it had a couple good wrestlers in it to compensate for super green Garett, but I didn't stick around to watch a main event designed to try and fail to get Garett over as a top level player. It's a waste of time. There are so many more talented and over guys on the roster they have nothing for yet the failing Garett experiment continues, and in prime show spots no less. Hyping Garett's participation in the main event all show yet not saying Hardy is in the match until moments beforehand is a bad strategy.
The belts are worthless, but Young & ODB as KO tag champs is dumb. If your TV network doesn't allow man on woman violence, then quit doing storylines that require man vs. woman TV matches. I don't look forward to that wedding.
Hey, another likely bad, goofy Abyss storyline. Moving on...
Aries/Ion had some fun moments thanks to Aries, but I expect more from an Aries match, even a 4 minute one. I came away still thinking I'd rather see an Aries/Shelley rematch than an Aries/Ion rematch at the PPV. I'm not a fan of Ion in the slightest, the former match would be far better, and Aries feuding with Shelley would feel like less of a step down from last week than feuding with Ion does.
Bully's promo and Bully/Roode were fine, though Roode continues to be booked weakly. They're doing a lot of heel/heel matches lately. I think you can do the occasional heel/heel match with the right guys, but this month will have at least 2 shows with 2 heel/heel matches, and a couple of these heel/heel matches aren't with the right guys/girls.
That #1 contender match was a lose/lose situation. They need some new teams because the current crop isn't cutting it. Abandoning the ill conceived Morgan/Crimson feud before their bad, unover not-taped rematch would be wise too.
Adding Anderson to the AJ/Daniels/Kazarian storyline isn't the thing to get me interested in that feud. Adding Anderson to anything isn't something that'll spark my interest. I was enjoying this break from him being annoying and having poor performances
This makes the second consecutive week I've seen this driving cutter move, and it doesn't work for me. If you're gonna DDT someone, don't do it from a cutter position. It looks weak.
Garett is Eric Watts redux, and once was enough.
I think Jeff Hardy will be back in the WWE before next year's Mania.

What a absolutely rancid show starring Garrett Bischoffs no talent ass. Last weeks show was one of the best of the Spike tv era while this weeks show was by far the worst show in the last six months. You had Garrett Bischoff being spotlighted like he was fucking Steve Austin circa 1998. Why can't a guy with a ton of potential to draw like James Storm get this kind of a spotlight? Mr Anderson's back and he's teaming with Styles and he's got the same tired shtick. I am so stoked to see him back. I found it funny how quickly they cut away when Anderson was about to talk to get another Garrett segment in. The Main Event wasn't bad, but Garrett getting the hot tag and hitting a pathetic shoulder block was sad. So Eric Young wins a womens title, who didn't see this coming? Blah blah the title means nothing right? Well now they have two titles held by comedy figures just get rid of the TV and knockout tag titles. If not why not give the titles to Sarita and Angelina? So Morgan and Crimson are playing feuding tag champ that get a tag title shot? How enthralling. The tag team division is so bad. Why the hell did they give away the X division title match two weeks before the PPV? Highlight of the show was Bully Ray as usual. Roode is just a joke of a champion, who is being booked like he's The Honky Tonk Man. This show was a huge downgrade from last week. It was like last weeks show was written by Lagana and Pritchard and this weeks was written by Bischoff.
-What a horrible show. How can even Bischoff have his head so far up his ass to think anyone wants to see his son...especially as a FACE?
-The only thing I liked was the Ion/Aries match. Heel vs Heel is hard to do, but they pulled it off.
-Sting is an embarrassment. Get that ass off my TV.
-Did Flair even speak? You have him, you pay him, and you do nothing with him.
-Didn't even recognize Abyss at first and I've been two feet away from him with his mask off.
-This show heavily featured everything I hate in TNA...the Bischoff's, ODB/Young, Sting.
-I can't see WWE taking Hardy back. He's screwed them over too many times, plus it would piss off half the lockerroom. I can't see Punk even working with him.

I believe Jeff's contract is up in January. I'd ask if he could handle the WWE schedule, but he worked TNA's grueling ten days in a row tour and Impact tapings last week. Watts at least threw a good dropkick, Bischoff is David Flair.
I like Sting as a authority figure when he's acting like a normal human being, and not in Joker Sting mode. I'm hoping he goes back to normal Sting after Victory Road.

I was afraid that this would be his new character, but it's just likely a one or two week role before Abyss turns up again, I guess. Abyss looks like a freaking troll. I'm not excited about this angle or his eventual return.
I think a year or so ago Eric Young was going to be fired. It was well known to the IWC and there was a petition by the fans to stop the firing. Whether the petition or some of the boys stuck up for him who knows, but he was not fired. I was one of those guys who said let him have a chance they are not using him right and so on. Last night, proved me wrong. They should have fired his ass and we wouldn't dealing with TNA constantly shooting themselves in the foot with the only division that moves a rating. I read spoilers, I didn't bother. How this company can go from back on track looking ok to fiery 50 car pile up the turnpike after a high school football game is amazing to me. Just amazing.

You know, as much as I hate Young's stuff, he can't help bad booking. He was actually pretty decent when he was doing the World Elite stuff, but they dropped that for a retread of Zany Eric.
Eric Young's contract was up, and it looked like he was on the outs, but he took a paycut and ended up sticking around. Young had pretty strong backers in Jarrett and Russo and that is why he's stuck around so long. No idea why they are looking to turn the knockouts division into the divas divisions when the knockouts draw ratings. Graves9's Honky Tonk man comp for Roode is a excellent one, Roode is being booked to be a total fluke champion, and no one is buying in. Surprised Ray got cheered last night when he took on Roode, I sure hope they don't get any bright ideas and turn him face down the line. This Garett push in undoing all the good TNA has done the past few months, and is drowning the company. Absolutely no one gets behind a guy that is on TV and getting pushed because his dad has power.

Eric Young has never been able to get over as a serious character besides for his early days in Team Canada. He wasn't over as the leader of the world elite or in his feud with Bashir or in his feud with The Band or his feud with Hernandez. The only time he's been over is when he plays zany Eric Young. It is too bad his style of comedy isn't comedic.
Just when TNA was getting me to like their product they put out this show. Major step backwards IMO. Garrett Bischoff needs to die and go to hell taking his worthless father with him. the main reason to hate on Impact right now!
Not as offended by the team of EY/ODB, they make me laugh. but they shouldn't be KO Tag Champs, it's just not right. I liked Madison & Gail's tag team work in the match though, but the whole point was to break them up leading to the KO title match. The KO division is fairly strong but needs a few tweaks to make it really work.
I don't dislike Ion, he works the gimmick well but is still a little unpolished in his ringwork. Aires continues to be excellent in everything he does. this match just needed more time to really highlight what is good about the X division.
Ray and Roode was decent but should have been the ME with both men booked much more strongly to show which heel could be more dastardly.
Joe is carrying his team & they are working well together but Terry isn't working out with Robbie E at all. the whole tag team scene is a mess right now.
AJ Kaz and Daniels are all great but I can not stand Anderson and he made me lose all interest in this program.
The Main Event wasn't even worthy of being a curtain jerker. Angle was once the best but is now a shell of a man and Hardy shouldn't be wrestling at all anymore. Still not sold on Gunner and I won't waste any more time on GB. This Impact sucked donkey dicks.

Quoted for truth.
I personally would have no problem with man vs. woman fighting, so long as it's presented with a modicum of respect. But if you can't do it, don't promise it. And when you repeatedly book men against women in matches, that's what you're promising, whether you're explicit about it or not. The fact that they can't figure out how counterproductive this is makes them seem idiotic, frankly.
My favorite parts were the Abyss's Brother segments. I am interested in seeing where they go with that. As I said last week, I hope he asks Samoa Joe where Abyss might have been taken to.
Anderson is back. I was just starting to miss him. I wonder why he aligned himself with Styles.
Roode/Ray was fun to watch.
Angle continues to be in the zone with his promos.
That is the greatest Subway commercial I have ever seen. But DAMN! How many sandwiches is he eating?! Uncle Eric's gonna get sick to his stomach! EDIT: Oh! And how can I possibly forget... FUNAKI IS AN INTERVIEWER!
